KKT KOLBE/Wall Hood with headroom/Cooker hood / 90cm / stainless steel/black glass/auto-shutoff/Touch operation / ECCO909S [Energy Class A+]

So far delighted with this cooker hood. Angled toward the wall which, unlike my previous conventional cooker hood, prevents me from hitting my head on a sharp edge (no sharp edge on this hood anyway)Using it on power 3 for light/normal meals on our range cooker and steam is absorbed effectively. (it has 9 levels of power.) Noise at level 3 is low but increases with power level. Probably still quieter than my old hood.Two lights on the back underside are effective. They can be used without extractor motor running but main power switch is required to illuminate control buttons. Lights go off when main power switch is switched off.There is a 9 minute timer available but I haven't found the need to use this yet.Using carbon filter. There is a chimney and expandable coil supplied as well but I have no use for them as the ceiling above my cooker is curved.Has the appearance of a wide screen TV, but obviously not (idea for someone to incorporate into a cooker hood).Front hinges open and initially appeared not to open wide enough to gain easy access to filters. This however was not the case and gentle persuasion proved the front face would hinge sufficiently wide to gain easy access to the filter and motor.Be careful when preparing to mount it on your wall as the front face is glass and it does not balance well when on the floor. It could topple over and damage the glass. (ensure you don't leave it balancing unattended as you prepare it for mounting - common sense) It is however perfectly stable once mounted on the wall on it's bracket.Plug adapter has to be unscrewed to house two pin plug in three pin adapter. I thought it might slide in. It's easily fitted however requiring only a screw driver.So far I love it and would highly recommend.

This is the best cooker hood by far I have bought in 20 years. It is quiet at normal levels and even on full is acceptable. Axial fans have hundreds? of blades and ours shed one after 4 months and became unbalanced. They shipped a replacement fan from Germany within a week. Very impressed.

It arrived and looked quite promising it's being fit today as just had a kitchen refurb. It states it has a uk plug ..it doesn't it cam with a euro one without an adapter included. Had to use a shaver plug to convert it or else we would be having to pay the fitter to come back. Didnt want to chop the plug off as wasnt sure if this will run correctly on uk electric so fingers crossed. It is a beautiful hood though but I'd be happier if it was supplied with the correct fittings as stated in the description so this is why I have marked it down

Looks good! Easy to fit and quieter than our previous extractor.Update 1/12/2020. Had a problem with the circuit board, but the company were very prompt at resolving the issue. Within a week the hood was up and running again. Excellent service!

Really quiet compared to our old one and more powerful. Cool looking. Worth every penny and seller service is excellent.

Looks really good and works well, a little noisy, more than expected but really pleased with the stylish looks.

when i got the hood installed there was a large vibration noise. I contacted the seller, sent a couple of videos and they got straight back to me saying the motor was faulty and they would either replace the whole unit or just the motor and I could switch it myself. They assured me the motor replacement was easy to do. The new motor came very quickly and I had switched it over in about 30 mins. i now have a great looking cooker hood that is nice and quiet. It is a great product and the sellers can't do enough for their customers. Very responsive, no quibbles. definitely a seller you can trust. Thanks
