Ortho WeedClear Lawn Weed Killer Ready-To-Spray, Kills Crabgrass, Dandelion and Clover, 32 oz.

This review is for the hose-end sprayer product by Ortho, since Amazon tends to combine reviews for different items. I had lots of weeds on my lawn, including dandelions, clover, chickweed, and others I couldn’t identify. I followed the instructions, and within hours, I noticed the dandelions wilting! Twenty-four hours later, the dandelions and chickweed were dead—very impressive! However, it didn’t seem to affect the clover much, though that may have been due to user error. I’ll try to go over it again, but overall, I’m impressed with how quickly this product worked and how easy it was to apply!

I typically grab whatever weed killer is on sale and don’t pay much attention to brands, but I recently tried this one, and I was truly impressed! I noticed a real difference right away; within less than 5 minutes, the weeds started to shrivel up. This is by far the best weed killer I’ve used so far! I’ll definitely be sticking with this brand for my lawn care needs. Highly recommend!

Just now applied this morning, not sure of the effectiveness, will have to wait and see....in order to keep it from leaking you will have to tighten the spray nozzle as tight as possible, I had to use channel lock pliers to snug it up so it would not leak, before you hook it to hose push the rubber ring inside container as far in as possible, this will help with the snugness.

I had a yard full of wild violets and creeping charlie. I read several lawn forums and concluded that the most effective time to use this stuff was in the fall. I made 3 applications 3 weeks apart using a Dial-n-Spray. The first application was mid September and the last application was in November. This year I don't have a single wild violet or any creeping charlie.

I sprayed the weeds on my lawn using Ortho WeedClear as directed. I also used an Ortho hose end sprayer to apply it, setting the dial to 2.5 as directed. Well, if I didn't know better, I would say that this is fertilizer instead of weed killer. One week later, my weeds are looking stronger than ever. Unbelievable. I am going to ask Ortho for a refund.

Bought this to zero in on a few dandelions and several wild garlic weeds throughout the lawn. After 3-4 applications over the course of 10 days, the dandelions are starting to look a little withered and the wild garlic has turned yellow, but neigher of these weeds are completely dead even after repeated applications. It's nice that this did not kill mu grass, but it did not have a clear impact on the weeds I will look for another brand of weed killer

I was absolutely shocked at how fast this cleared my yard up…it was literally overnight! I also found this incredibly easy to use.

Second year using this. Tried so many others before this with no luck. This works great killing the weeds without harming your grass. I used 2 bottles to cover approximately 8,000 ft. Easy to use, will definitely be my go to for weeds.
