Review: The only product that's worked - I've had a very slow drip in my vehicle for over 10 years. I was told that it was a timing cover leak and the estimate when originally diagnosed was approximately $3500. The extent of the leak is one drip per day and I did not think that it was worth proceeding with the expensive repair job. It does not amount to more than a cup of oil leaked between oil changes but it is enough to leave a stain in my garage and parking stall at work. I've kept a very close eye on my oil levels and have tried a variety of products over the years intended to stop leaks. I park over a piece of cardboard in my garage so I can monitor the leak. When my oil level had dropped below the FULL line, I added the entire bottle of Blue Devil and drove my vehicle for approximately two hours. I have parked in my garage for the last week and there are no drips on the cardboard. This product has worked for my vehicle.

**Q: I used this product a couple months ago. do i need to apply this again in certain time period? also, do i need to re-apply if i get my oil changed?**
A: Hi, this is my experience on a Mercedes S600 2001. When car reach 150k, leaking become too big (or I feed up! because it was leaking a little bit before) and apply BD, after one week it was gone and I washed engine to make sure no leaks. After while, when car reach more than 190k, leak start again, but I have 4 oil changes (I change every 10k with full synthetic oil) without application of BD. Again after few days, leak stop. My plan now is every 20k I apply BD again.  Any how I plan to buy a new car so doesn't make sense to open engine to replace gaskets as value of car is very low. I hope it help you.

**Q: is this product for any car for example a bmw 328i 2009**
A: yes it works in any auto I used it in my 2003 saab 9-5 3.0 v-6 engine and it stopped oil leak completely in 2 month as leak kept getting smaller up to that time great product will be using again if ever needed hope this help out.

**Q: How much would ypu use in a differential?**
A: From the BlueDevil website, regarding the Oil Stop Leak product: BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak Part #49499 will seal leaks in any fluid systems that are seeping or dripping. Use this product for engine oil leaks, pinion seals, gear cases, refillable shock absorbers, gear boxes, axle seals, and gear differentials. An 8 oz bottle treats 4-6 qt of oil, so a typical differential would use a half bottle.

**Q: Is this similar sealing method as ATP 205 reseal?**
A: Did nothing for my leak. Actually made it worse. Has consistency of water.

Added this to my car that had oil leak and it worked for a few weeks but then started leaking again . Did not fix problem it may have slightly improved but leak is still there . I was septic from start but gave it a try .
