You found the right bag!
I spent quite some time looking for the "right" snowboard/boot bag. I actually ordered two others that I returned because they didn't meet my needs. Here are some highlights:- I like this bag has boot storage on the sides of the bag, as it holds it shape better if the bag has other items in it and the boots are removed. The other two bags had boot storage on bottom and when I removed the boots, any weight on top due to other items in it made the bag collapse on itself.- While this bag is the same capacity as the others I ordered, this bag holds more due to its better layout and thoughtful design.- The boot pockets on each side have drainage holes in the bottom (many bags do not), which will help with moisture- The boot pockets comfortably fit my snowboard boots which are size 11 and a relatively bulky/rigid boot (Burton Swath Step-on)- The bag is very spacious; currently I have the bag loaded with my snowboard boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, extra gloves, tailbone guard (azzpadz), and snowboard pants; there is still considerable room left.- Construction seems high quality and I really like the appearance of my bag (grey)I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this bag!

Love the option to use backpack straps or to tuck ...
PROS: HUGE capacity. We bought two of these and put our boots in the outside pockets (buckles facing in to prevent any damage) and LOADED the interior with helmet and other extras (gloves, goggles, gear, etc.) On the way home, we put both helmets and goggles in one bag and loaded the other with all of our extra groceries from the trip. These bags fit a ton of stuff - so much that you need to watch the weight. Love the option to use backpack straps or to tuck them away and out of sight. There is an alternate carrying handle at the top.CONS: Fabric seems good, but a little thin and stiff. Only time will tell if it lasts. The zipper is a bit stiff and catchy, but no problems after our first trip. I would be concerned about using the single top handle with too much weight in the bag. My sense it that it's fine for a usual load, but if you have it OVER loaded, it might falter over time.Overall, great value. We bought the board bags to match and all the same comments apply. I'd purchase again.

My new favorite bag!
So glad I purchased this! Some of the reviews are so skewed. So, without further ado..This is a solid bag. The zippers are big and heavy duty. (please do NOT listen to the review from the person who doesn't know how to operate a zipper!!). No problems zipping and unzipping. All straps are well sewn in, and very sturdy. Handles are sturdy. Material is good, and pliable.I wear a 28.5 boot, and they fit nicely. There's room in the boot compartment to store more gear if needed. The exterior of one boot compartment had a zippered pocket.. I put all my hand warmers, and miscellaneous little things in there.Inside has plenty of space. For reference, I have 3 pairs of goggles (more on that in a moment), a hood, two think neck warmers, two hats, a pair of gloves, glove liners, an extra pair of socks, and my helmet in there, with plenty of room to spare. In the main compartment, there is a separate soft zippered pocket for goggles. I fit two pair in it, no problems. In the top opening flap, there is an inside zippered storage area, and one on the outside as well for quick access items. On the outside flap there's also a "mesh" strap to throw in a water bottle etc without losing it.The back side has a pocket for shoulder straps if you don't want to use the backpack. If you do, it's easy to fit onto your back, and is comfortable to carry. At first, I didn't think it would have enough room, and after packing what was in my much larger bag into it, with room to spare, I'd say this will handle all your needs on the slopes easily.Pros:RoomySolid constructionComfortableAmazing price / valueLots of storage areasWill help with the long walks from the parking lot to the lodgeCons:Haven't found one.I'm glad I saw this before I purchased one that was about $40 more for basically the same thing!

What a deal!
Just got mine today and I'm impressed. A friend of mine bought a named brand bag the other day for 3 times the price and I liked it a lot, but being the cheapskate that I am I knew there had to be a better deal out there. I found this Element, read all the reviews and after checking some other boot bags came back to this one and bought it. The bag appears to be of very good quality, strong stitching, solid smooth zippers and it's damm good looking. I loaded it up with a pair of boots ( 27.5 ), socks and boot gloves in the side compartments with room to spare. The main compartment has my ski pants, coat, two pair of goggles, helmet, face mask, pair of mittens, liners, pair of gloves and I still have room for my lunch and an extra pair of pants. There's a nice fleece lined pouch inside for goggles, another zippered compartment on the inside and out of the flap and a zippered compartment on the outside of the boot compartments. With the bag loaded up I picked it up and gave it a couple of jerks with the handles and nothing gave way. Only time will tell how the bag will hold up, but right now I'm quite happy. Headed up tomorrow to the slopes and can't wait to show it to my friend and tell him how much I saved. BTW, the shipping was fast and arrived in a day and half.

Food for thought - metal buckles for the shoulder straps
Tonight will be my first time using this very roomy bag. I went to pull the bag out of my car at work, so my gear stays warm, and the clasp on the one shoulder strap popped right out. After some finagling I DID manage to get it back together! I know there's a bit of weight in the bag now that my gear and ski boots are in there, but since it's intended to be a ski bag the clasps should be a little heftier. Instead of plastic clasps, might I suggest metal ones? I think then, this bag would be truly top notch! I'm hoping that my quick fix is the end of the troubles because with how roomy this bag is, I really do like it. The zippers seem really sturdy and there are lots of compartments. I have included a photo of the swiveling clasp and circled where it came apart in hopes that maybe the manufacturer will take note.
