Let me start my review by saying I purchased this brush March 1, 2020. It’s been almost 5 years. I tried buying other brushes, but I ALWAYS went back to this one. It’s super easy to clean, just don’t deep clean it by drenching it with 91% alcohol and forgetting about it for an hour. It will make it break and crack after all this time. I mourned my brush and here I am buying another, hoping nothings changed about this product since I originally purchased it. This brush detangles like no other, I have wavy/curly medium to long hair that loves to tangle. Even when I was in a funk and let my hair become way too tangled, this brush glided through it like nothing. No pulling or pain. This brush is beyond worth the money spent.

For about six months, it effortlessly detangled my hair, was gentle on my scalp, and the anti-static feature was a bonus.However, my satisfaction was short-lived. Around the half-year mark, I noticed the bristles began to snap off. This deterioration was gradual and not immediately noticeable, but over time, it significantly affected the brush's performance. The broken bristles created sharp edges that not only damaged my hair but also posed a risk to my scalp. It was disappointing to find that such a promising brush turned out to be less durable than expected.The most concerning part is how these broken bristles can go unnoticed at first, leading to unintentional damage to both hair and scalp. While the brush was excellent initially, its lack of longevity is a major drawback.In conclusion, I give the Janeke Superbrush 4 stars for its initial performance. However, potential buyers should be aware of its durability issues. It's a fantastic brush when new, but be prepared for possible bristle breakage in the long term.

This is a great brush. My daughter is 6 and has very long hair. This is the only brush she let's me use to brush her hair. It's not magic and dosent get the tangles out in one go but it dosent pull the hair like most other brushes. Highly recommend this brush.
