Q: How high up do these go on the tummy? How wide is the waistband? Is it comfy or does it cut you in the middle?

Go up to natural waist line - very comfy. Waistband a good two inches. I'm 5'5" - 130 lbs. - use size chart - quite accurate. Love mine.

Q: I am 6'2' sz 8 where is the length???

I feel your pain. I wish more companies would offer approx. inseam on leggings. I'm 5'10", size 6 with 34" inseam. These leggings are long enough for me in size small. Hopefully the length is consistent. In other brands, I've found lengths can vary from pair to pair up to 2". It drives me crazy! This is my first pair of Hues.

Q: Would these work well under a form-fitting sweater dress?

These leggings are a little thicker than you might want for under a sweater dress. Although the thickness of them is one of the best things about them for holding one in, it may not suit for this use.
