National Tree 6.5 Foot Dunhill Fir Tree with 650 Multicolor Lights (DUH3-65RLO)

After research, we purchased this tree to replace an old 7-1/2 foot tree. We initially inspected the tree when it arrived, put it back in the box and just actually put it up this weekend for the holidays. On a personal note, it is smaller than our old one so it is taking us a little time to get used to that but we anticipated that. Set-up: absolutely a breeze. It's in three sections and they popped together with very little effort. Only one plug to deal with in each section; that's a big improvement over the older trees. It took my husband and I about 15 minutes to separate and "fluff" the branches. As we have been decorating the tree, it is very easy to maneuver branches to handle ornaments, even very heavy ornaments.We're happy with the product and the delivery and would recommend this tree. It's still an artificial tree (a real tree is out of the question once we moved to the desert; simply too dangerous). However, as artificial trees go, we've very happy with this one. It's full, easy to assemble and a good price point. We'll see how the tree holds up over the years but so far so good. The only suggestion we would have is to put handles on the storage box.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL TREE! THE LIGHTS ARE PLENTIFUL AND DISTRIBUTED VERY EVENLY THROUGHOUT THE TREE. I LOOKED FOR 2 YEARS, WANTING THE "PERFECT" PRE-LIGHTED TREE. I AM CRAZY ABOUT BEAUTIFULLY LIGHTED TREES AND INSIST ON LOTS AND LOTS OF MULTI-COLORED LIGHTS. THIS TREE DOES NOT DISAPOINT IN ANY WAY. IT IS BEAUTIFULLY FULL AND WAS VERY EASY TO "ARRANGE" STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BEAUTIFUL, WELL LIGHTED TREE, I THINK YOU WOULD BE JUST AS PLEASED AS I AM WHEN YOU ORDER THIS NATIONAL TREE COMPANY FIR. IF I HAD A ROOM TO PUT ANOTHER TREE IN, I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY ANOTHER OF THESE TREES!UPDATE! THIS TREE'S LIGHTS ALL WENT DARK BY FEBRUARY 10. I USUALLY KEEP MY TREE ON THROUGH VALENTINE'S DAY. I HAVE VERY CUTE ORNAMENTS I USE FOR VALENTINE'S. MY TREE THAT THIS ONE REPLACED LASTED 5 YEARS WITH THE LIGHTS ON CONSTANTLY FROM THANKSGIVING THROUGH A WEEK AFTER VALENTINE'S. I AM VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS TREE. I EXPECTED BETTER QUALITY.

The tree itself is pretty realistic looking, but I was very disappointed with the size. It's much smaller than what I thought. It says 6 1/2 feet, but in reality the top row of branches it probably about 5'8". Then there is one skinny branch sticking straight up to bring the overall height to maybe 6'. Not impressive. And the one lone top branch is not strong enough to hold a star, angel, or any other tree topper. It literally just slumped over like a limp noodle. I had to reinforce the branch with a stick taped to it in order to put on my topper. So, the tree itself is nice looking but go bigger than what you think you want by at least a foot, and be ready to reinforce the top.

This is a nice looking tree once completely setup. It will require approximately 1.5-2Hrs to setup properly. However, as mentioned in other reviews gloves are recommended due to the prickly needles. You can see the texture if you zoom in on the pic.The branch wires are not very strong, the gauge of wire is weak. In fact two broke off during setup and four additional ones while I was packing it up for return. I am a pretty meticulous person using normal motion while set up and repacking. These branches should never have fallen off. I've included some images one pic is a view looking down on the lower section showing fullness once shaped. Sorry the orientation of the assembled tree somehow turned when uploading :( in any case you get the gist.

Picture makes this tree look really nice. It was easy to assemble but required quite a bit of time to spread out the branches. The problem is that the tree has tons of tips but the guts of the tree are bare. Even with all the ornaments and tinsel, once lit, you can see the bare insides of the tree and the many wires for the bulbs.If I had been smart I would have shipped it back.I would not recommend this tree.

It's am absolutely beautiful tree. It has so many lights that it doesn't need ornaments. It does take awhile to get the branches and their tips in place, but it's not a big deal.But it's now priced much higher than before. I bought it for $127. They must be getting scarce.

The actual tree is not like the one in the photo. You can easily see through it even after spreading the branches as much as possible. Very disappointing.
