What's the difference between the humidx plus and the humdix standard?

The difference is moisture. If you use a humidifier now and have the setting at 3 to 4 I would suggest HumidX. This machine does not give me enough or I guess I should say different humidity. It is not as comfortable as the humidity that I get from my Air sense 10

is there a way to extend the life of the humidx Plus? If i only use it say for a weekend trip? Can i vacuum seal it to prolong the life?

My ENT doctor says you can double the life by putting them in a zip lock each morning when you wake up!

It is 30 days from first usage.

Do you remove humidx when not in use? Ex, use 1 week during travel, then renove 1 week when home and then insert again for travel?

No, I never remove it. I simply replace it every 30 days. I travel fairly often, so I don't want to run the risk of not having the humidx installed when I'm rushing to pack and head to the airport.
