Review: Great tasting household favorite at a great price - Like others have said I'm no coffee coinsure but I appreciate a truly good cup of coffee and I feel that this brews into a great cup. I was actually a little surprised how much the three of us in my household enjoy this coffee. I'm not sure why, but I had expected this coffee to be closer to Folgers than something found on a shelf of coffees with a higher price tag. To be honest I bought this coffee because of the reviews here, and the price. But what really inspired me was seeing a TV show that highlighted the coffee from this region. I looked this coffee up on the internet and what I found was that it's well respected, but still felt the show was probably exaggerating a little. Eventually I decided on the two pound bag of the whole bean and placed in an airtight container thinking I would use it when as a fill in when one of our favorites ran low or use it as a change up. But my wife took the container out looked at the coffee, smelled it and decided to give it a try right off, and it's become one of the few coffees we keep on hand. So the three of us really enjoy this coffee, we've used three different brewing methods and in our opinion it works great in each. The first time my wife brewed this, she used the a Chemex 6 cup Slow drip method, and it has a wonderful rich clean taste without any hint of bitterness. In fact it seems to produce more of a slightly sweet taste, rather than anything approaching bitterness. We've also used a French Press and it works very well in the French press, but my personal favorite method is done with the AeroPress. When brewing this coffee with the AeroPress I keep pretty close to the instructions that come with the device. I do use a little more coffee than the instructions suggest, finding that the two slightly rounded scoops and about a half of another make a fantastic cup of coffee. Another reason I prefer using the AeroPress with this coffee is that it's dark enough to make a decent espresso. It's not going to be like using one of the truly dark roast coffees, but the flavor is very rich and enjoyable. in my opinion many medium roast coffees just do not lend themselves as well to this type of deeper extraction, not able to go beyond certain limitations. Over all this has become a favorite in our home, with a rich unique taste that is versatile enough to do well no matter which brewing method you might prefer. Finally yes I would recommend this to friends and family
Review: Best coffee EVER!!!! - I wish I could give this coffee six stars. It deserves it. I've bought coffee from desertcart before, with horrible results, but I decided to try once more because I have not been able to find any coffee from Chiapas locally this year. The other coffees that I've bought just haven't measured up, and coffee is one of the things that I'm super persnickety about. This stuff is awesome. It's highly flavorful without being heavy like French or Italian roasts. It is smooth and delicious without a trace of acidity. It is heaven with stevia and soy creamer added. This is my coffee from here on out. As an aside, it is also very reasonably priced for organic coffee. I really hate reviews that talk about price because I am looking for the quality of the product, not its relative "value." But, in this case, when bought in five-pound bags, the price is also very reasonable. Update: I've just gotten my second bag, and it is every bit as good as the first. Update #2: I've just gotten my fifth or sixth bag, and it is consistently delicious.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How soon is coffee sent after roasting?**
A: If ordered directly, the coffee is roasted per order and sent the day of or the day after. If coffee is ordered from an Amazon warehouse, you must anticipate lead time for the coffee to be shipped from our facility to the warehouses.

**Q: How do you know this is 100% brazilian coffee? the packaging does not seem to comply with current fda regulations concerning country of origin?**
A: POLICY:Food labeling statements regarding geographical origin must not be false or misleading in any particular. FDA's policy prohibiting false or misleading labeling of food applies equally to imported and domestic productsIt is 100% Brazilian coffee.

**Q: where is this coffee grown??? thanks**
A: New Guinea is a series of islands Papua is one of the biggest island of the chain. It is volcanic and its soil is very non-acidic so the beans have that smoothness and lack the acidity, the bitter bite that beans from around the world seem to have. the only comparable beans are from the 2300 ft. Elevation at Kona Hawaii and Blue Mountain beans from Jamaica. Does that answer your question?

**Q: Is the Bali Blue single origin?**
A: The seller lists it under "Single Origin Indonesian" and gives the location as "Kintamani Highlands, Bali," with an altitude band of about 2000 feet, so that's single-origin enough for me.
