I absolutely love this dress. I had to return and get a smaller size and a petite because of the length. The dress on is absolutely gorgeous - perfect for my shape and didn't require any alterations. I never I'm a million years thought that I would ever buy myself dress on Amazon but wow have they upped their game. It's a mother or the groom dress for me and I needed a complementary color to the mother of the bride who is wearing silver/gray and the bridesmaids are wearing blue. Thanks to my handy color wheel also bought on Amazon years ago for art purposes gave me the color in an instant. Now looking for shoes. Everything who has seen a pre-photo of me in the dress said I couldn't have picked better. Thank you Amazon and thank you to Alex Evening wear for offering your dresses here.

I returned this dress. It is beautiful, but the sequins are scratchy and the Shaw looks cheap. I wouldn’t wear the sage if I had kept the dress.

I received so many compliments on this dress. It was just what I was hoping for. Loved it!!

5'5" 220lbs about a 40C and the size 20 fit me well. The dress itself is pretty. It was long by about 4 inches but can be fixed wearing shoes with higher heels. The dress is a bit heavy, which I only noticed while holding it, not when wearing it (but a long night in it, it may be a different story). It has a little stretch to it, so it hugs the curves and creates a nice body outline. It definitely would look really good with hourglass shaped bodies or straight/rectangle than an apple like me (but it did fit me surprisingly very well compared to other dresses). The main issue I had was the shaped bust/bra inside the dress. It is very uncomfortable and creates a weird, abnormal looking shape to the body. Overall, it is a $300 dress so don't expect it to be perfect like the dresses you seeon the Red Carpet, just work around the things you can deal with. I unfortunately, couldn't get past the built in bra creating a weird figure on me.

The media could not be loaded.  Well I like the dress and I'm debating on whether or not to return it... there is a hole in the lace which I found while putting it on. Also the undergarment is a cheap fabric. I was a little disappointed for the price that I paid to have such a cheap fabric as an undergarment. This type of fabric does not breathe at all!

Nice color. I usually wear this designer but this dress didn’t fit right. Beads were falling off too.
