Bien Dire - Print + Audio CD Print Magazine

The magazine would be interesting and informative on its own. The articles are interesting and cover many different subjects. There are English translations of the more difficult words or idiomatic expressions so I'm not reaching for my French/English dictionary constantly, as I am when I read a magazine or book written for an audience fluent in French. Being able to listen to native French speakers read many of the articles while I follow along with the text is what makes Bien Dire so valuable. Especially since I live in Florida, a place where French is not often heard. Definitely 5 stars!

One of my best buys recently has been Bien Dire. If you like learning languanges, if you love French and France, this magazine is for you. I am a beginner , so a lot of the articles are more advanced for me, but it is by hearing and "forcing your brain to work" that you learn. The audio is worth the price alone. CD is well produced, ver clear, interesting articles, LOTS of different speakers. This is one subscription I will continue ad infinitum!!!!

I love this French magazine.

This magazine is perfect for students of French language. It offers variety of articles and there is a CD audio of half of the magazine to help you oractice listening and pronunciation. I really love it. I hope there are more magazines like this.

I've subscribed to Bien Dire for several years and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. Interesting articles, excellent variety of vocabulary plus grammar tips. I use the CD in my car as I'm going about my day. It's a great tool for improving your French language skills.

Interesting easy to read articles and stories in French with audio CD.

I did not subscribe to this magazine through amazon, instead through the magazine's website. I highly recommend getting the CD that goes with this--about half of the articles (about an hour's worth of audio) are recorded. The magazine comes every two months and is full of articles about different regions and cities, history, wine and a lot of other topics. It is actually very varied in its content. There is a section about current events, and also articles about how to communicate in certain types of situations. The articles range from easier to quite advanced, and the advanced articles tend to incorporate a lot of more idiomatic phrases and words. The website actually has about 10 pages worth of sample from one of the issues, and I would say that it is representative of the product. This magazine is very interesting and I look forward to every issue I receive. And with the audio component I really have noticed an improvement to my comprehension, both written and spoken French.
