If your stuck with these on your RV, this is the place to get them.
This review is more about the item than the product or company. The company was great and the product fit fine and replaced both sizes of ones I have on my RV (different panel thicknesses). They seemed to be good quality and the price was the best I could find. That said, these stupid things are still way too expensive for what they are. The design is horrible and they basically suck. They break easily and are often difficult to make latch. These were just a crappy design when first invented, and now thousands are stuck with them. Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone that makes a latch to replace these square-holed latches. But if you must replace yours, this is a good deal and they work fine.

READ THIS TO INSTALL WITH EASE
Boil water and place the latches in the hot water to soften the plastic. After a few minutes, remove the latches from the water with a fork and note the plunger orientation in reference to the retaining clip. Detach the plunger from the retaining clip and insert the retaining clip into you fridge cover in the desired orientation. Now with the plunger oriented as noted before detaching, inset it into the clip with your fingers. No hammer is need because the plunger is free to push into the clip. Hope this helps.

Kind of a rip off
Pay attention to the photo, 5 clips come with the narrow profile and 5 with the standard frofile notch. You most likely have the wide notch rendering the narrow type useless! You can NOT use the small notch since the notch is what catches the lid to the base! I bought a 10 pack "just to have" since it's cheaper per clip then buying the 2 pack, but 5 are useless! One of the clips also blew apart when I tried to tap the push pin into the clip per instructions (why can't they pre pushed in for us, like really?at this price point?) I ended up taking off the center pin and putting into my OEM clip bodies that were left on the door. You are better off buying that Nordic OEM clip at $15 for two vs this Chinese no brand for $20 for the two clips x2 buys since you need two clips! They will probably fail soon judging by how one clip blew apart. This is madness, who designed this selling format? unreal

Not just for RV units
We have an older gas heater that the tech had used metallic tape on to keep the door closed when he was done (not professional as he had broken the one latch that has been there sense we got the place) got two sets of these and the longer ones worked perfect to latch it closed and looks like the latch he had broken. It takes a bit of careful effort to get them set up to go in properly with out breaking and the fact you have to buy to packs to get two of the same size. However I could find no after market one for my furnace and the manufacture had no help as to what to do sense they no longer make the part. so in the end it was worth the trouble/expense IMO. Also it was making terrible noise when warming up from the metal grill that was "tapped on" and it no longer does that so a win win situation on that.

Cheap product
Good thing it came in a pack of 2. One of them snapped during install. I only needed to replace 1, so I'm good.

perfect but expensive
they fit perfectly, no issues at all other than a bit expensive but anything thats for a boat, rv or plane automatically is higher priced
