A beautiful Italian work horse!
Just FYI - I did not purchase this range from Amazon, but in doing my research on the brand, it was difficult to find reviews, so I wanted to post one here for anyone who is researching the brand. I didn't originally start researching Italian ranges. I was doing a kitchen remodel and wanted a double oven. So I read tons of reviews, and to my surprise, there really weren't any brands that people were 100% thrilled with, and this included some of the top of the line brands. I ended up researching Ilve because I found out the opening the contractor made for my range was 36" and not 30". There are no double ovens made for a 36" opening with the exception of 2, Verona and Ilve, and both of them are made by a company called EuroChef. At the time, the Ilve was a little more expensive, but it came with accessories that the Verona did not. The grill was included, along with a rotisserie spit and a spatula for scraping the grill (like they do at the Japanese Hibachi places). So rather than have to purchase those, I decided on the Ilve. I did some research as well, and based on the reviews I did find, people seemed happier with Ilve than with Verona. Ilve was rated at 4.9 and Verona was 4.8. Both brands were still ranked higher than almost all of the other 30" and 36" ranges. As you can see by the picture, there are 2 smaller ovens side by side instead of on top of each other. I wasn't exactly keen on this at first, but since I'm only one person and my family isn't that big, I don't have the need to cook a 30 pound turkey or anything. The measurements fit my favorite cookie sheet in the larger side, so it was fine for me. I wasn't sure I would like the range being off the floor either, but now I love that feature. I have 3 dogs, and anyone with pets knows that no matter what, the pet hair gets under the range. Since it sits above the floor, I can just vacuum right under it and don't have to take the drawer out. What you will notice is that there isn't any kind of fancy wifi feature or anything like that. In my mind, this is stupid. I would never turn on the range when I wasn't home because my dogs are in the house and I would be afraid of something potentially catching fire when I wasn't home. And do I really need to turn on the oven when I'm in the bathroom or downstairs folding laundry? No, not really. It's just something else that will eventually break. I have had the range for a year now and I can honestly say, I am very pleased. It looks awesome. Everyone who comes in my house loves it. I have not had any issues at all. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the timer. The time remaining does not display, you have to push the button to see how much time is left. I can live with that. It was a little more than some of the standard brands, but I feel like it was built well and built to last. The object is to never have to call a service technician and if that costs a little more up front, it's totally worth it.

Looks good..... That's about it.
Looks great, an eye catcher and great feature for our kitchen. Terrible for cooking. Oven takes forever to reach temperature and it makes the most god-awful screeching nails-on-the-chalkboard hissing noise. Also the very first time I used the stovetop burner I splashed a bit of grease and I can't remove the grease stain. I mean, it's a stove top, you should be able to get the grease off. So if you want an item to display it's great. If you plan to actually cook with it, shop elsewhere.
