5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Purely ordered on a whim-ran into one of his works while scrolling, it resonated. Boom. On my wishlist of purchases that had to happen (expanding my world while under these stay at home orders and unimaginable times). And Whoa it does not disappoint. This will rule over a sea of books and I will be keeping it within easy reach, every single turn of the page a brilliant insight into mad genius itself, at it's most glorious, resplendent-yet-raw, truly and wholly original, passionate, daring, adventure-seeking, devil-may-care attitude- best, with a palpable love for the adventure that is life and beauty, basking in it's never-ending splendor, always a breath away from danger, if not tragedy. Well done, well done.

This is what I call a BOOK! Great addition to my personal library, and absolutely recommended to those interested in Peter Beard's work.

I though this was going to be about animals...it's not. There are few animals in this book, mainly magazine clippings, drawings and pictures of naked women...not that I'm complaining

If you are a lover of big, beautiful books, this is perfect for you. This book is wonderfully thought out and offers the reader an inside perspective into Peter Beard's life. Perfect for any collection.
