L'Oréal Paris Hair Gel Extreme Fix Indestructible Gel, 150 ml

The media could not be loaded. So I have thick hair. Which is a blessing and a curse. Blessing because because I don't feel my hair will fall out in a hurry. A curse because of how difficult it is to get my hair to do what I need it to do.So I have been looking for a gel which will work for my hair. The normal hair gels just wouldn't work for me. So I needed something that would have a strong hold as well mouldable.So after searching a few gels on Amazon. I came across this gem. And let me tell you it does everything it says it will. You don't need to use too much either. It holds my hair in place, moulds to any style I need, it doesn't leave any residue, the hold is strong and the shine is great for a groomed look. Think Cristiano Ronaldo hair. That's what this brings my hair to look like. You can also use a little less to give yourself a more casual look.It has a nice smell to it. So the Mrs is happy. And because it is thick you don't need to use much and so it lasts me for months. And I can't stress this enough - even though it is a thick gel it does not leave any residue on your hair.Tldr: This works great on my thick hair. Has a thick consistency which will keep your hair in place. Nice gel.

This is the only gel that I find keeps my hair styled all day long and even a second day. It is also becoming incredibly hard to find in high street shops, often replaced with the "extreme hold" gel which only has a 9 rating for styling and trust me the difference is massive. I'm so glad that I've managed to find it on Amazon, although it's not always available or on offer, when it is though I always grab some, so I don't run out.

This does what it says on the tin (well, tube...). It's a good solid hold with just a little bit of give if pressed. Since Tigi inexplicably discontinued Hard Head Mohawk Gel, this is the best replacement I've been able to find. It doesn't have the same longevity as hard head - you won't get 3 days out of it if you avoid getting it wet - but for day-to-day use it's really good.

Great item, bought 5 for my husband as he couldn’t find elsewhere

I bought this in July for £2.50, with prime delivery outstanding value. Just looked at the price now (Oct 2023) it's over £8!!!!!!! That's a real shame, blatant profiteering. This gel is long lasting, generally last/shapes for 2/3 days depending on style and length of hair. It also washes out easily but is rainproof at the same time! Will definitely get more once it goes back to a non rip-off price.

Truely indestructible while to looking stylish.Such a shame few stock it.
