Condor Men's Tactical

Love the jacket, and no I am not affiliated in any way with Condor. I bought 2 of these jackets about a month apart from one another. One is OD green and the other is coyote brown/tan. The jackets are a little bit different from one another. Fundamentally, they are the same and as pictured. There are a few subtle differences like the OD green has a soft fleece lining and a zippered hood opening in the back. The Velcro straps on the wrists is a bit different, as well. Both are great jackets, I just don't know if I got an updated version and if so, which one is the updated. I like the fleece lining a lot better, as it seems a bit warmer. Unlike other Condor gear, this jacket is true to size. These jackets are made to fit a fit, soldier type body frame. If you have a few holiday pounds, you may want to order a size up. Great quality, as usual.

The jacket is great, perfect.A tad bit smaller than I thought, but it fits fine. Just cant bulk up in the gym or i will look like Chris Farley in the jack...."Fat guy in a little coat....". No big deal, might be my perspective, maybe i am fat and i just refuse to recognize it. I layer and the jacket is freaking awesome. I used it walking through Amman, Jordan in snow, sleet and rain with tempratures hoversing around 1*c. The only flaw, no where to put my hands. I am a hands in pockets kind of dude so it is awkward, still have pants pockets so the aggregate is WIN!I recommend this product! Will buy another one.

As with most Condor apparel, its kind of a guessing game as far as what size is right for you. I had to compare the sizing chart with the sizing chart of my Condor Alpha jacket, and was surprised to see that they are two completely different cuts and sizes respectively. The Alpha fits on me a little tight in the arms but everywhere else fine as a large size; while I opted for an XL on the summit. (5'11" / 195-205 depending on the time of year) The XL size fits rather well and is ideal for layering. Sleeves are pretty long so the velcro cuff straps come in handy.All in all, solid jacket for the money. Really impressed with it and what comes with it.Two downsides that made me drop that fifth star. 1. The jacket I received is not the jacket shown in the description. The jacket did not feature the black pvc/rubber velcro strap on he cuff. Instead, mine came with a matching velcro cuff strap. Minor detail, but i was really liking that black cuff strap on top of the green. This appears to be a new run of jacket seeings how that black strap is not there and because the paracord/bungie zipper pulls were swapped out for the pvc/rubber Condor branded zipper pulls. Again minor detail.The other downside is the seemingly consistent main zipper alignment/"zippability". This is the second jacket ive bought from condor where you really have to work to get that zipper in place just to zip up the jacket. Not sure if its because of the YKK zipper or maybe a design flaw, but regardless it seems to be an issue with Condor and not the jacket itself. So if youre listenung Condor - please fix the zipper!Other than those two small things, this jacket is damn near perfect and worth the money. Highly recommended.

I have a MED Condor Summit Soft Shell. I bought an XTRA-LARGE shell to fit over it. I am 5' 8" 175lbs and the XTRA-LARGE fit perfect! A Large would've been WAY TOO SMALL.

Bought this early 2019 and am still using it 2/7/21 still going strong, well worth the purchase!

The sizes run small, so if you normally order a large -- take it to XL.I returned it because of the low quality zippers. The zipper kept jamming, and was a pain to zip up. There is no way they are YKK zippers.

I really didn't like the bulk of the hood in the collar. I cut it out and sewed Velcro strips in place, so I could make it a removable hood. The zipper is hard to get it clasped. I really like the jacket other than that. Now that it is cool I wear it every day as my shell over a hoodie.

I bought this for my husband last Christmas. He loves all the pockets/compartments, the high-collar w/hood, the patch areas...pretty much everything about it. I just ordered one for his dad and my husband has requested another one in black (he has the olive now).
