I purchased these a little over a year ago. About 2 weeks ago they stopped lighting up. I have checked everything & cleaned the screen but that has not helped. I put them in large pots with flowers. Looks so cool around my pool. It says they have a rechargeable battery, but you can’t get to it to replace. That’s sad because I really like these torches. They look so real and give such an ambience. But at $11.50 each I’m not going to replace them.

These torches are so beautiful in my yard. They are bright and the flicker pattern looks very realistic. I love that these have an exterior on/off button. I have read some other brands have it inside so you have to unscrew the top every time. These charge quickly and stay charged. Mine come on at dusk and stay on all night. Lightweight and easy to assemble. I love them so much that I ordered another set. When one of them didn't charge I reached out to the company. They responded quickly with some fix it suggestions. When that failed they sent me a replacement. I can't say enough for their product and customer service. I highly recommend adding these to your yard. And if you ever need to ask a question, they will respond quickly. I plan on ordering another set for the side of my house.

Didn't last. No way to get them to work, even battery changes. Look good. Waste of money.

I have only had for a few days, but they are beautiful! They don't seem too sturdy with the plastic and I can't see how they will hold up in the colder weather, but I really bought them for spring , summer and early fall. My neighbor had them for garden pathway decor and I just love them. I did not like the way the steak does not screw into base(just stick it in ). If you put in the ground and need to pull it out to move it you cannot get the small steak out of the ground because the base is not attached to it(???) I could not believe that. I wanted to move them several times-you have to dig the short steak out of the ground(???). Most people will need to move them in the kind of severe storms we have been having. The ad says the steak is 5 inches but mined were shorter-although I did not measure. This could be a big problem as time passes. but they really are pretty. I will write another review after giving them six months.

I was inspired to buy these by a friend who has similar but way more expensive torch lamps. When they first arrived and I tried out the light by covering the solar collector, I confess I thought they were a bit crap by comparison to my friend's lamps. However, once they were in position and it got dark, they were terrific and the light was strong and really flame-like. Furthermore, they lasted hours longer than my old (regular) ones which are in a much more open and sunnier spot and which recently had new solar batteries put in. These were still lit when I went to bed at 2:00 am! And, even furthermore, they're not only in a very shady woodland garden (I didn't expect them to work well there at all in fact), but we've had clouds and rain since they were installed, so the batteries are excellent. Sorry for no pic of them alight but you can see how shady their location is. So I would definitely consider getting another set and recommending to others.

Look very nice in our garden. Not much for light but excellent ambience. Seller - excellent, ordered 2 packs of 8 total lights. One light turned out to be faulty, sent email late on Friday, seller responded on Sunday, replacement light arrived Thursday, no questions asked. Excellent service. Lights look great!!

I bought a set of four torches and put them on a south facing back yard slope that gets all day sun. After two weeks of use the torches are doing well and all four are staying illuminated until dawn. They look like real flame especially when they're the only light source, however unlike real flame they don't cast much (if any) light around them. They probably wouldn't make very good walkway lights if you want something to cast light on the walkway itself.The big problem is the stakes. As others have noted in reviews going back at least two years, and the issue still hasn't been corrected by the manufacturer, the stakes are thin, brittle, and are prone to breaking even in soft ground. The chances this will happen increase each time you reposition the stakes, which is something that's natural to do with decorative torches.Further, the pointy pieces that snap into the bottom end of the stakes are flexy like rubber and are apt to bend into a U shape when encountering even light resistance, which is pretty much the opposite of what you want the pointy end of stakes to do.Finally, because the pointy end isn't part of the stake itself, it's prone to coming off and staying underground if and when you pull the stake up to reposition it, and must be dug up to reuse. I intend to find something at the DIY store to replace all four stakes, if possible.After two weeks of use, I give the torches five stars, the stakes one star, or 2.5 (rounded up to three) stars overall.July 2023 update: All four torches died in rapid succession after a little less than a year of being outside 24/7, which is a much shorter lifespan than I have experienced with other solar LEDs. Between the relatively short lifespan and the weak, brittle stakes they come with, I will not be replacing them with a new set.

These torches look pretty awesome. From a distance they appear to be real flames. I noticed that my first set purchased April 29th battery life has decreased a bit. I have noticed that after a full day of solar charging, the stored battery power in the 1st set purchased April 29, 2022, lasts about 9 hours, while the 2nd set purchased September 7, 2022 stays lit for almost 11 hours. Not a huge difference but I hope the batteries do not continue to lose storage capacity. I highly recommend these torches.
