iRobot Roomba 890 Robot Vacuum- Wi-Fi Connected, Works with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets, Hard Floors (Renewed)

We really didn't know what to expect from these units but have heard so much about them that we thought with 2 dogs in the house we would give it a shot. It was easy to set up and the app on our phone is really handy for scheduling the cleanings. It picks up a lot of hair, but the only thing is it will make you crazy if you watch it because it is just all over the place. It doesn't seem to have any patterns or methods to it's madness. I guess if you let it run long enough over enough days, it will eventually clean all of the flooring in our house. Overall I am satisfied with it and would recommend it to others, especially with pets because it really does take a huge chore off my plate and cleans while I read : )

There are a few times we wish it were thinner to get under a couple of areas. But overall it is AMAZING. We consider ourselves clean people but we have two dogs and gardening is our hobby. So we run it every day. It was so surprising to us how much it picks up every single day. We are sorry we waited so long to get one. It empties 3 times on each cleaning. We are glad we got the self emptying one. It just makes life a little easier.

For daily quick clean up it works well. Picks up our dogs hair. If you don't run it daily it doesn't work that well. I had to dump it out a lot in the middle of cleaning. It runs for a long time on a charge. Sometime it seems to run in no particular pattern and will go over the same spots several times and miss other places entirely.

This guy has made keeping my new house clean a breeze! It is an excellent value. It does go all over kind of without direction, but it gets everything. And you get to name it (I named mine Helpy!) and it is easy to set up the app on your phone so you know when the bin is full or if it gets stuck somewhere. So glad I bought it!

Feels like I have a personal house keeper. I love coming home to nice clean floors. Although it keeps getting stuck on my bathroom rug lol I just move it to a new location and it’s ready to go again. Definitely does a great job at cleaning.

I purchased this item, and it was great for the first 6 months. Then it began giving error messages and was unusable. This was outside the Amazon return window, so Amazon/the seller wouldn't help. I was referred to the manufacturer. iRobot explained this item was not sold by an authorized retailer, so they would not help. I was told I need to buy a new one, and from an authorized seller. I had saved up for this item, and after 6 months I have nothing but a past history of 6 months of clean floors. I had initially been happy to save money by shopping here, but did not realize my Roomba would soon malfunction and I'd be SOL. Lesson learned: only buy from an authorized seller. Which is not this seller.

This is our second Roomba and I was hoping for better results with this one. It usually runs out of battery life before it can even get back to the base to recharge. I rarely get a message on my phone that the task was completed successfully. It's usually, a message that reads "Roomba needs to recharge". It's annoying. When it does work it picks up an enormous amount of pet hair and dander.

I’m actually pleasantly surprised. I have 4 animals, 2 dogs and 2 cats and they shed A TON!!! I run this every other day and it does the job. My dog popped the bumper off, so we had to reattach that. But it’s great for the price.
