The Good Place: The Final Season [DVD]

Dvd played well. This is a great show.

A wonderful end to perhaps the cleverest sitcom of the last half-decade. It's a sweet bow to tie on everything, although this might be the weakest season the show had, as the first half of it follows some new characters who end up not being significant to the second half at all. The back half is as strong as the rest of the series' run, though, bringing all the series' supporting cast into a fold that determines the fate of afterlife and the universe. I'm so happy this show ended on its own terms instead of being dragged out unnecessarily for money.

Once I finally received this, I was not disappointed. I'd seen the first three seasons on Netflix and was desperate to find out what happened in season four.While I admit it was a little bit rushed and disjointed; not as smooth as the first three seasons, the fourth was still really good. And it was satisfying with a superb ending. A fitting farewell to these people who we have come to know and love so well.There aren't a great many DVD extras, which is why I still buy DVDs. Still, the one that is there is worth it.

The fart jokes don't get funnier, but Sean and his minions are horrible to watch.

This DVD is labeled close captioned, but the captioning is not available on the disc menu so is not accessible. I filed a complaint with Shout! the distributor with no response. Close captioning is legally required under the handicap access laws of the US. The cc labeling is fraudulent. DVD disc player manufacturers say the option has to be on the disc menu to work. It is not.

When you order a FINAL SERASON to a series, you're obviously anxious to watch it. The delivery was late and the 2 DVD set arrived in cheap plastic, so it was obviously used. Both DVD's were dirty and skipped constantly, so I had to clean both. That did not work, so now I have to wait until I return them to get a new DVD. The DVD's are useless, so I shouldn't have to waste my time returning the DVD's and wait for another shipment. Very Frustrated with the this purchase.

This is a nice series, quite amusing and entertaining. See it if you like a good laugh. Highly recommended.On other note, however, this DVD has not the correct information listed, because it says there are english subtitles but in fact there aren't. So, for the hard of hearing and other people you need subtitles this is a problem.Also, it is zone 1, not zone 2 for Europe. This is also not listed in the DVD information and since I was buying from amazon.uk it didn't even cross my mind that this could be zone 1. Shame of Amazon for not doing its job properly...

My rating is due to the lack of information about this DVD.It is zone 1 (USA) and can't be used in most European DVD or BluRay players.

Die Serie ist super, aber bei dieser DVD handelt es sich um ein Produkt aus dem Ausland. Die DVD hat einen anderen Ländercode und kann mit einem deutschen DVD-Spieler nicht benutzt werden! Man kann bei den meisten DVD-Spielern den Ländercode verändern/löschen, dann geht es. Was uns auch geärgert hat ist, dass ma bei dieser DVD keine Untertitel einstellen kann.

まず初めにチアーズアクターはほとんど他のシリーズ映画出演のさいはチアーズパロディーを入れることになているらしいのでチアーズは全シリーズ見ておいた方がいいです。チアーズはそもそも北米では知ていて当たり前レベルなのでパロディーを入れる側もわかっているという前提の上でやっているので。少しネタバレを含みますがマイケルのアパートの322の数字はあちこちで見られますがこれにはクリエイターが秘めた暗号があります。ところどころに色々仕掛けがほどこされている Good PlaceですがCheersの大量の文学作品の引用やFrasierのオペラクラシック作品などの難解文化への理解なみに色々謎解きが多く楽しめる内容です。
