Not much to say - good price - come with all the needed screws and hardware- I was replacing and old door and fortunately I put the hole in the new door exactly in right place - took 5 minutes to install. We put in a white door near our dining room- it matches our white cabinets with Black handles perfectly. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Easy install, very nice finish, durable and great price! All the things that made this purchase worth it! Lock definitely works. Doorknobs are an easy way to update a space and I'm glad I went with this brand!

Easy to install and look great

This is a decent doorknob, but the instructions could use some improvement. If you’re already used to installing this type of doorknob, it will be a no-brainer. If not, you should get a magnifying lens and check the instructions for tips on how to alter the latch mechanism in order to work on your door. If your old doorknob doesn’t have the rectangular piece that comes pre-attached, you’ll need to pry the separate rectangular pieces apart with a standard screwdriver and the turn the inner rectangular piece sideways to remove it. Then you can replace the rectangular pieces with the round piece that’s loose in the box. The latch mechanism can be adjusted by pulling the inside end if you need to make it longer. There’s a tiny picture in the instructions and an arrow on the mechanism. The round attachment is a tighter fit in the opening than what was a normal fit for a doorknob between ten and twenty years old, so you might need a hammer and a block of wood to persuade it. There’s a tiny picture of this in the instructions. It was quicker and easier to figure things out for myself than it was trying to figure out the illustrations without actual instructions because the instructions are apparently for any type of doorknob sold by the manufacturer, including ones for exterior doors. Just a note for anyone having a day like I was having when I had to replace my broken bathroom doorknob, you’ll probably want to put the old doorknob pieces in a separate area. I wasted at least twenty minutes trying to figure out why the pieces I had previously test fitted suddenly wouldn’t go together properly. I was dumbfounded (with emphasis on dumb) because I couldn’t get the knob to fit through the latch mechanism no matter what I tried. I kept washing the black residue off my hands, putting reading glasses on and studying the illustrations again and again. For some reason, the knob fit into the old mechanism perfectly. It just wouldn’t fit into the new one. After having to wash my hands several times, it suddenly dawned on me that the new knob shouldn’t be getting my hands so dirty and I figured out that I had been trying to fit part of the old knob into the new mechanism. Once I tried the new knob instead, everything fit perfectly! Ha ha ha! In my defense, medication I had to take was clearly lowering my IQ considerably, but I felt pretty stupid because it had taken me so long to figure out my mistake. I’m mentioning this to spare you some time trying to fit the pieces together. Just thinking about my blatant stupidity yesterday still cracks me up.

For the price these are great. Lighter weight that other door knobs I have used, but these were for the basement so they were fine. Would have even used them upstairs if I discovered these earlier. Nice looking and easy to install. No problems at all. These unlock on the outside with a flathead or coin, the one's I usually use are the one's you poke with a pin. Both fine. Overall great door knob for the price.

I have a older solid wood door, and these accent well. Easy to put in. Has put up will a lot of abuse from us so far, because, oops, we put on an exterior door. It's got a good grip. I'm happy.
