Connected this to an Amazon Firestick but it hangs. Secondly the firestick adapter power cord cannot be used to power Smays Micro USB LAN Ethernet Adapter, you need to buy a separate power adapter to power the Smays Micro USB LAN Ethernet Adapter. That is the reason why it is being returned.

Works but power hungry
Connected this to an Amazon Firestick, primarily for the Ethernet connection. Initially it failed to power up the Firestick, which went into a boot loop, this was because I used a 1 amp power supply, upping the power to 2 amps sorted the problem, but the choice of power socket on the adaptor means you are limited as to which chargers you can use, it would have been better if this had the same socket as the Firestick, and indeed most phones it’s likely to be used with. The Firestick can see a USB device plugged into this adaptor.

Works well
I decided that a wired connection for my fire stick was needed as the Wi-Fi connection was not strong and further weakened by other Wi-Fi devices (phones) in the room. Connecting it to the fire stick was easy and it automatically moved from Wi-Fi to Ethernet. No more picture or sound degradation and no buffering any more. Excelent

Doesn't work with the Amazon firestick
Very disappointed and annoyed i bought this for the firestick and it doesn't work in any. The stick just constantly reboots waste off money as it was advertised it would work with the firestick. It's a waste of time and money it's built well and looks nice just doesn't work.

TRASH. NOT FOR FIRE TV
Firstly, I know how to set up electronic gadgets. But, despite all attempts this adapter will NOT work in any way with Amazon Fire Stick. Don't listen to any other reviews, I've tried using both 1amp and 2amp power plugs of which NONE power up the Fire Stick via this useless adapter. It is MISLEADING for Amazon to advertise this adapter works with Fire Stick. Don't waste your money on this piece of trash and buy the official Amazon adapter instead which Does work.

Great for 4k Fire cube
Easy to add memory stick access to fire cube; for simple access thence to camera images or videos.I use VLC as my app of choice to access the device.
