Perfect fit filters out chlorine

These filters are excellent in removing the bad tastes of our water. They last us (2 people) up to six weeks. Easy to remove and install. When removed, the filters are still white but don't let that fool you...they are doing the job.

Not much to look at, just a replacement element for one of the better water filters. For flavor it doesn't removed Total dissolved solids from the water, but does pull out the chlorine impurities leaving the water tasting fresh and without discoloration. The replacement element just pops right in ONCE you get the water filter assembly apart. The threads are always a little sticky and maybe could use a little petroleum jelly on reassembly. Value, I feel you should get two of these for the price, but they are still cheaper than the blue plastic ones from a different brand.

I'm extremely pleased with the filter. I purchased the one that lights up and I love how it turns different colors according to the temperature. Also, water tastes good from the tap. I despised how tap water taste so I would buy bottled water. Considering not purchasing bottled water anymore. My only complaint is at times it may loosen so you may have to tighten every now and then. Otherwise very good filter for the price.
