Case for iPad Air 2

I’ve always been a fan of using protective covers for expensive tech products. While the Apple iPads have a degree of “built-in” durability, they are still subject to damage with everyday use. I purchased a similar cover for my first Apple iPad (Gen 4) and was glad that I did so. Personal experience and knowledge of what can occur made for an easy decision when I got my second iPad (an Air 2). The JETech case (for iPad Air 2) has, so far, been performing as expected. The screen cover puts the Air 2 to “sleep” when closed and “wakes” it up when opened. It seems (feels) like it is durably made and my iPad fits snuggly but is easily removed if necessary. It adds very little dimensional size or weight to the sleekness of the Air 2. The sleekness and reduced weight of the Air 2 are a bit of a detriment as the polished metal skin and light weight allow the tablet to slip or slide easily on most surfaces and increase the chances for being dropped. The JETech case reduces this possibility AND provides a level of protection if a “drop” does occur! Double bonus 👍. The only detractor that I might have is that the matte finish of the case does allow for some smudging and fingerprinting from skin oil. It is easily remedied with any basic tech product cleaner but thought that I’d mention it. The JETech cases are very reasonably priced and shipping was prompt. With product registration, you get a Lifetime Warranty but I’m hoping that I won’t need to request it. My experience with the JETech case for my Air2 has been excellent and makes it easy to recommend this product to others looking to protect their expensive Apple iPad!

This iPad case is absolutely beautiful—sleek design, nice color, and it looks very stylish. I was really impressed when I first received it. However, after a short period of use, the faux leather started peeling off, which was disappointing. I expected it to hold up better with regular use. It still offers decent protection, but the peeling takes away from the overall look and quality.
