Big Green = Good cleaning...
I needed a carpet cleaner that is heavy duty and gets close to the walls, Big Green is just what I was looking for. I have had this for about 2 years now and have had no problems with it. It is easy to fill and easy to clean. It has a hose attachment for use on furniture or getting to those spots that are hard to get to. This is probably the best carpet shampooer that I have ever owned, and I have had some big brand named carpet shampooers. One thing I would suggest is to get a rubber mat to put under this thing when storing it just incase there is leftover water in the cambers... it might leak out. But, all-in-all, this machine has lasted me a lot longer then other brands and is still going very strong. If you are looking for a very durable, long lasting, carpet shampooer then this is what you need. Pros: - Water provides weight above the shampooer to help get a deeper clean - Easy to fill - Easy to clean - Allows you to get very close to the walls - Easy to push and pull - Very well built, rugged - Has lasted longer then other Big Brand named carpet shampooers Cons: - A little pricey

Best purchase this year!
Being wheelchair bound for a prolonged period of time after an accident, my carpets were a mess due to having three dogs (2 of them puppies) who love to dig in the dirt and play in the mud. And the hair!!! I wanted to have the carpets replaced but was too embarrassed to have anyone see them in the condition they were in, so I decided to spring for this after reading many independent review sites. I am amazed and delighted! This makes my carpets look and feel new, except for a few stubborn stains that one has to look for. Some things I've learned: use the full amount of detergent recommended. It works much better on really dirty carpets if you do. Use a spot stain remover on really bad stains; it helps. It does leave a slight soapy residue, so I go over it again with clean water in the shampoo tank. It's well worth doing; the carpets are left soft, springy and odor-free. I haven't had it long, so I don't know about it's durability, but I've done three rooms so far and am just over the moon with the results. Not going to be replacing any carpets for a long time!

Excellent carpet cleaner but a bit difficult to maneuver
This is an amazing carpet cleaner; however, it is not made to easily go around tables, chairs and corners. It cleans with backward and forward strokes making it not only easier to deep clean the carpets, but also quicker as it removes much more water with each stroke than the standard cleaner. As previously mentioned, it is not easy to move around furniture. It has a horrible turn radius. It’s much easier to clean if you move as much furniture out of the room as possible and only work around the large pieces.

Heavy duty cleaning!
This is a great cleaning machine. A heavier machine than I'm used to, but it does extract better than any machine I've owned in the past. This is definitely a professional grade carpet cleaner. I like that the water tanks are larger than I've had in the past and can easily do a normal sized room with just one fill up. Carpets look the best I've seen them in awhile. Well worth the money.

Highly recommend this rug shampooed!
I am so pleased with the power of this machine. After having a couple of cheaper, sub performers I decided to do research. This one has had the best ratings in several sites. Though reluctant to pay this much I decided this would still be cheaper than paying for professional carpet cleaning. Carpets look great; better than when done professionally. Three weeks later the carpet still looks great. With a dog that has accidents, I just use the attachment & it works great.

Didn't work as well as I hoped
We spent a lot of money on this as we have pets. It looked like it really cleaned the rugs well, until rug fully dried and then we could still see the urine spots. We even pre-treated. A little disappointed as it was pretty expensive.

Game Changer!
We love our Green Machine! We have two big dogs and dogs come over often. Plus we have a very light rug and carpet. So needless to say, there is always a mess needing clean up. The green machines amazes us every time! It’s as if we pay for a professional carpet clean, but you get to focus on spots that need the extra attention. Things we have treated with it, and how it has done. Pee spots: when we acted fast, we got it all. But before we had the green machine there were some accidents, or a little surprise was left and we found it a week later (don’t judge, we have all been there) it would get like 90% of it. But remember, our rug is a super light cream colored and is thick looped wool. So I don’t think anyone else notices it’s there, except us. Blood: our 100lb pooch was in heat, and so drops of blood would sometimes appear. Even waiting the two weeks for her to be done. The green machine got all of the blood out. Other things it has gotten out: Green Pen, Red Gatorade, dirt, scoot marks, and everything in between. It is a large machine, and an event to get it out, so we haven’t ever tried on our stairs. And it’s not meant for little jobs. You have to use the whole tank of water, or else you waste it. But we have done half tanks before. When we do a full tank, it generally covers a deep clean of 400-800 sq ft. (Just depends how deep you go) The photo attached is of a spot on our rug that had 2 spots that had dried before we cleaned it.
