This was one of the more expensive options that I found. It is heat resistant (very important) AND waterproof. I was not disappointed with this product. You do get what you pay for. These countertops are high traffic in my home so I was not upset spending more in exchange for quality. It was thicker than most that I've seen. It will definitely hide small imperfections on your counter tops. Repositioning was a little difficult and I did have to reposition a few times but I attempted this myself and I would suggest having another set of hands assist with the process. It's not easy but I didn't expect it to be. It is time consuming and my suggestion is to be patient because it is worth it. The color to me was accurate from the online pictures, and honestly I thought it looked better in person. It does have that nice shiny granite look to it. Ultimately very happy with the final product and the process to apply was as expected. Worth the time and worth the money.

We purchased an older house and the kitchen needed some updating. We don't have the money to do a remodel right now so we found this is a cheaper upgrade option. It looks Fantastic! I am amazed. My relatives came over and actually thought I replaced the counter with real granite. It looks that good. It feels nice and is easy to clean and feels smooth. What a difference this makes in our kitchen for a fraction of the price.This did take me the entire day but I managed to do the whole thing in one day. It's extremely sticky and is not going to come off! Here's a couple things I learned during install.1. Don't try to measure it to size and then cut and then hope to stick it on. It just won't come out right now matter how perfect your measure it. As the instructions say, just stick it on and then cut the edges off after you've put it on.2. It is really hard to get all the air bubbles out. If you have to, go slow to get the air bubbles out as you go because it's a lot harder to get them out after you put the entire sheet down.3. Don't try to cut it so that the edges of two pieces meet perfectly. It will never come out perfect. Just overlap it. That way you ensure there's no gap in between the two pieces and you won't be able to see the overhang anyway. I woul also suggest folding over the edges and overlapping the sides so the edges are nice and smooth.4. I used the box cutter and that worked well for me. Don't feel the need to buy any additional wallpaper smoothing I'ma cutting kit. You definitely need a long straight edge to cut against so your ends go seamlessly against the wall and edges.5. This is a big project and took me the entire day for our huge kitchen. Having some help to hold up the role as you push down the pieces into place will certainly make it easier. I think it was well worth the work and completely transforms your kitchen.

Update: I have now used this in a couple rooms with dated and chipping laminate countertops. The material has held up extremely well over the last 6 months, though I would reiterate that it can be sliced or scratched. I would probably not use this in a kitchen where it might be cut on. Similarly a stray box cutter can go awry. But this is a great affordable option for updating laundry rooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the home. My family comments on how nice it looks every time they are over.——This went on very easily after watching the online videos. I’m impressed with the glossiness and feel of the material. It really looks so similar to the granite we have on our kitchen countertops. It’s been about a week, and I do notice small bubbles in the counter in certain lights. However overall this turned out amazing.

Good quality and is easy to put on. We love it! If you cant afford new counters then this is the way to go for a good look.

I ordered grey black white and as you can see from the photo it is more of browns! It does not match my black white whites and greys in my kitchen. I ordered 2 rolls and used one whole rolls thinking it was just the lighting. But the more I looked the more I see browns.. I am in tears!!As far as the product itself it was pretty easy to install and except for the color looks great! I would recommend this product as long as the colors are the same as the pictures they advertised!

Several people have claims they thought this was real. TBH I think they were being nice, though from 12-18 inches away it certainly fools the eye.+ About as sturdy as you can expect from a vinyl product. Treat it with care and it should last.+ Looks good - definitely beats any faux painting option.+ Stretches around corners nicely when using a hair dryer+ sturdy backing makes it easy to cut- some sections lacked adhesive long thin streaks had it missing. I was able to cut around most of it but I was disappointed in that.- air channels for bubbles did not work very well- finish could be a little more glossy - of course that's variable on your opinion.While this overlay lacks the depth and luster of real granite, it is a perfect DIY alternative for shorter term use or in situations that you simply cannot put in real stone.

We did my mom's kitchen counters with this paper and love it. The product is very thick and is holding up very well. It does take 2 people to install but has great stick and no wrinkles or bubbles. I would definitely use this again, especially considering the cost and mess to replace counter tops. It did help that her counters have squared edges. I have added the after picture with white cabinets and the brown was her before look.

My husband and I decided to downsize our house and buy something a little smaller and cheaper as we get closer to retirement. The house we bought was built in the early 2000s and was a little bit outdated. I wanted to redo the kitchen countertops, but did not want to spend a fortune. My husband did, the countertops for me and I think they look amazing.
