Stop Nail-Biting, Thumb Sucking Treatment for Kids, Have Healthy, Nice-Looking Nails Again with all Natural Ingredients

I purchased this product to help my boys (4-7 and spouse) stop biting their nails and fingers. All were interested in stopping this habit and allowed application of product without fuss. It is easy to apply with applicator tip and is unlike nail polish (and no gloss appearance like other products, which pleased my boys). I didn't initially understand the applicator tip; click the pen's end clockwise and aloe comes out in perfect amount. It has a bitter taste that reminds them to get fingers out of their mouths and lasts 24hours on nail despite washing. If I remember to apply everyday (sometimes they even remind me), they are not biting. They do complain it is on their fingers when they eat as other reviews state. One of my kids cried the first time in his mouth, but has become less emotional with subsequent times. Another of my kids has to take frequent trips to water fountains to get the taste out. All their nails are looking healthier from not biting and probably the aloe vera in the product. Have used for 2 weeks and hoping only another few weeks and they won't require it anymore. Very pleased and would recommend and buy again.

This product is awful. I was looking for something non-toxic for my son to help him stop biting his nails. This did not work at all. It has one of those clicking systems to automatically release a certain amount "gel" onto a rubber stick that you wipe onto your nails. Well, I just kept turning the nob (clicking) waiting for the stuff to come out. Eventually it did but after 3 days of applying (you have to reapply every day), the tube was empty, yes empty! I paid nearly $20.00 for this and since I waited 31 days after receiving it to contact seller and write this review, I cannot return/contact seller about it possibly being defective. I suggest you look somewhere else and bypass this product.

Just didn't work for my family. Gross taste, but wore off very rapidly. Didn't make it through a single night before my child was sucking her thumb. Hadnail biting 7 year old try it out too and she said the same thing.

It feels weird to rate "I love it" for a product when you hate the taste!!! I bite my own nails, so I purchased this for myself. I go through phases where my nails grow out beautiful, then I get a snag or tear... then watch a stressful tv show or movie, and my nails are gone before I know it! I needed something to stop myself from biting them. This is perfect, as long as I have the discipline to keep putting it on my nails. The taste is bitter, so bitter that it lingers in your mouth for a while. I need to spit it out or brush my teeth if I bite my nails with this on. You also do not need a lot for it to work, as a little bit goes a long way and is just as pungent. It makes me take the focus off my nails and 'forget' to bite them. Now my nails are finally growing out, and stronger!

So we have a major thumb-sucker on our hands and nothing really seems to work. This is nasty stuff but she seems to move past it. I tested myself and it is bitter and long lasting.

Not sure about the nail growth promoting bit but the awful taste does linger. A little challenging for my son at school as most school lunches require fingers to manipulate and eat so he tastes the bitterness that transfers to food frm his fingers.

This is the WORST taste I could imagine for this type of product. It definitely works. I typically bite my nails when I'm nervous/stressed/anxious. I'm in college so you know that happens quite a lot lol. I will also sometimes bite them absentmindedly. Half the time I don't even realize I'm biting them! The only thing I have to say is USE A TINY AMOUNT. I had a hard time getting the gel out and then suddenly it just poured out. I spread it over my nails and when I went for a nibble I instantly felt sick to my stomach. One tiiinyyy droplet per nail should be enough. That's how strong the taste is. To make it easier for the gel to come out, I just slid a bobby pin through the opening to make it a little wider. All in all, would by again!

I have been biting my nail since I was a child. I have tried many, many other stop nail biting products. Some have worked in the past. Decided to try this. Nope not what I expected . Faded every time you washed hands. waste of money
