My chihuahua developed an eye ulcer which made his eye cloudy. The vet prescribed drops which helped initially but eventually his ulcer came back after the week of dosing. Instead of going back to the vet and spending another $220, I decided to try these off the counter drops from amazon. After 3-4 days of dosing, his eye healed wonderfully, probably even better than the medication. I think the trick is to keep the eye moisturized. The 10 oz bottle lasts a long time too. I will keep purchasing it. 8/26/25 update: after using this for the past three months, my pup's eye ulcer hasn't come back. He is noticeably happier in his mood, sleeps less because the pain/irritation is gone. He's also gotten used to getting his drops and doesn't fight it anymore. $20/month instead of a $300 vet bill for each visit is a better option. This product is totally effective and I'm glad I found it.

I have a little Chihuahua who had hurt his eye and it had a laceration. I took him to the vet and she prescribed the slightly higher end version of this product. I was skeptical, but between this and antibiotics the cloudiness that was forming in his eye went away and the laceration healed beautifully. This forms a slight layer over the eye which seemed to make the discomfort more bearable for my little guy. This 100% works. I am a real person and I bought this second bottle on Amazon only if this ever happens again. The first vet I took him to gave me a paste like antibiotic and his eye was getting worse... I think he would have lost the eye if it wasn't for the other vet and this wonderful invention. ------------------------------- Update 4/2/23 I want to reiterate how amazing this stuff is. I am not paid or encouraged to post any reviews. They are all legit because people deserve to know when there are great products. My Chiweenie got into a play fight with her best friend male Chihushua. As you know Chiweenies tend to have eyes that stick out. Anyway, she was poked and her left eye was completely swollen closed. Looking at it, the white of her eye was beat red. I used this product and a day later, after two doses, her eye is fully open like it never happened. This is a real product that my vet sold to me as you can see from the original review. I swear by it and everyone deserves to know to have this on hand if your dogs tend to rough play. It saved my Chihuahuas eye (with antibiotics) and now it really helped my Chiweenie.

We have tried everything. Even prescribed meds. This eye drop works so well. I only apply it twice a day. And it keeps my dogs dry eyes moist and comfortable. I highly recommend this.

I’ve been using this for my Shih Tzu, Milo, to help with the crust that builds up around his eyes. It does take some commitment you’ll want to apply it 2–3 times a day for the best results but I have definitely noticed an improvement. Using this gel along with his prescribed eye medication has helped keep his eyes better lubricated and reduced the amount of crust over time. If your dog struggles with dry or crusty eyes, this is worth trying. Just be patient and stay consistent with the routine.

These seem to be gentle on the dogs eyes. I was noticing redness in our family dogs eyes when I would stop in. As my parents age I like to check the doggies out if they need a walk or bath or brush or have a bump here and there. Shadow spends a lot of time outside so I thought allergies might be bothering her. She also was having some gunk that seemed to stay stuck in her eye corner like it was too dry to get out. I first wipe her eyes with dog around the eye gentle cleaner to warm her up to the idea and also hydrated around the eye. I did the drops and came back 20min later and the gunk was pushed out more so I could get it. I use gentle tissues around their eyes. I think it provided her relief. I have used them on her 2 times so far.

It's so-so. It does seem to help, a little, but this is a super TINY bottle. A really tiny, easy to lose bottle - you'll want to be super careful not to misplace it. It's 5mls. To put this into perspective, my essential oils are in 10ml bottles - so half that. A super tiny clearish bottle. It's also hard to squeeze, I guess due to the size. Anyway, I'll finish this product and I'd already ordered a different one, so we've got it covered when this runs out. Needless to say, I cancelled our subscription for this product.

I have purchased these eyedrops several times for my dog who has cherry eye to help keep her eye from getting dry until she can get her eye fixed. She handles the drops well and they do not seem to bother her, so no stinging or irritation while using these drops. The bottle is easy to squeeze the drops out which is great. I like that the drops are additive-free so less chance of the drops irritating her eyes and I also like that the drops are made in the USA.
