GREAT HOSE!!! THE ORIGINAL AND THE ONLY PATENTED HOSE OF ALL OF THE IMITATORS SELLING LOOK-A-LIKE HOSES. PLUS - IT IS A GREAT HOSE. SO DEPENDABLE AND EVER SO EASY FOR ANYONE TO USE. THIS IS MY SECOND EXTREME X-HOSE HOSE. NO LEAKS. NO MESS. NO FUSS. DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO. WHO CAN ASK FOR MORE. IT ANNOYS ME THE OTHER SELLERS OF THIS TYPE HOSE ARE INFRINGING ON THE PATENT OF THE ORIGINAL INVENTOR. HE SPENT A GREAT DEAL OF HIS TIME AND MONEY INVENTING, PERFECTING AND OBTAINING A PATENT. BUT, MAYBE HE SHOULD NOT HAVE PUT IT IN THE PUBLIC DOMAINE BEFORE THE PATENT WAS ACTUALLY ISSUED. PATENT PENDING IS NO PROTECTION. STILL - NOT FAIR IN MY MIND. AND THE OTHER ARE GETTING AWAY WITH COPYING IT. BUT PATENT SUITS ARE PENDING - OR SO I UNDERSTAND. GOOD. THE IMITATORS SHOULD NOT BE GETTING AWAY WITH COPYING IT AND PROFITING FROM HIS LABOR. Hose blew out the first time I tried to use it. This is the second of these hoses I bought. The first one lasted a year. Should say one summer. It was NOT left outside! I loved how lightweight and easy to use it was but they don’t hold up!

So far, so good. Have been using this for only a month. It remains to be seen whether one of the ends will detach inside and spring a leak, as the earlier version did.

worked for about 3 months before it got its first hole. Developed 3 more holes within the two months following. I do have about 25% concrete that it comes in contact with otherwise grass and dirt or mulch. Just not very durable

We've purchased a total of 4 fabric-style hoses like this for our garden last year, and this brand (75ft Extreme Xhose from Fathom) has been the ONLY one that's lasted. These hoses can be challenging, quality wise, but they are so much easier to handle than traditional hoses. Easy to roll up, carry and store. Not bulky. I can attest to the fact that the quality of this hose is higher than the other three fabric-style brands we purchased around the same time. Just don't put these style of hose near/under anything too sharp. Again, this particular hose should far outlast other brands. It's even more affordable than most!

These hoses are light and easy to work with. however, after owning several hoses like this on including this one, the all last just a little over a year and then the hose gets a leak and these hoses cannot be repaired. Our water pressure is not that high and we always stored the hose in the garage when not in use. DO NOT BUY THESE HOSES!

I worked great for one summer. I used it for the first time the second summer and it sprung two leaks. Not sure if it was defective or just poor quality. Beware.

This newly designed version of the Xhose is a huge improvement over the previous design. I love it much better. I love these extreme hoses because they are so light and flexible to use. I'm 60 years old, and have significant back problems, so these hoses help me to not strain my back while washing off the deck and water the plants. I had the previous design, and loved those too, but they evenly broke at the fitting, it looks like they took care of that problem with the new version. I ordered two! I would never go back to the old style of heavy rubber hoses, after using the extreme hose. It's the best on the market!
