Great Sound, great battery life
I bought the Avantree Torus and the Avantree Orbit Pro to address three specific requirements. The system addresses a couple of those requirements perfectly, but fails on the third. I currently have the Orbit Pro connected to my Sony TV/Sony Soundbar via the Optical cable. Pro’s: Overall, the system works great to provide you with high quality remote listening capability. The low latency Bluetooth eliminates any lip-sync issues. The Torus headphones/speakers have a great sound an exceptional battery life. Con’s: Though the system uses Low Latency Bluetooth, there is still sufficient delay to create an unacceptable echo between the TV output and the headphone output. The Orbit Pro does not provide an eARC HDMI output, so you cannot connect it via HDMI if you are using an ARC/eARC Sound Bar or Home Theatre System. The remote requires a lot of pressure to control the volume. The remote is somewhat redundant, as the headphone volume up/down feature provides the same function. 1) I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and watch the TV in the family room through a pass-through window. In order to hear the TV, I have to crank up the volume, which bothers my wife. With the Torus/Orbit Pro I can roam around the kitchen and hear the TV perfectly. The Torus are loud enough that my wife can still hear the sound, but the volume is low enough that it does not bother her. Also, if it does start to bother her, the Torus has the earbud option which silences it completely. I did a bit of research and testing before buying these, and the Low Latency of the aptX HD Bluetooth ensures there is no visible lip-sync delay. So, 5 stars for this application. 2) I enjoy watching college and pro football, but my wife hates it – especially the constant continuous discussion by the sports announcers. Once again, the combination of the Torus with the Orbit Pro works perfectly. So, 5 stars for this application. 3) I am retired, and have a bit of hearing loss. I have been putting off getting hearing aids and I end up listening to the TV at a fairly high volume. Even with the TV at this volume, I struggle to catch every word of the dialog. I had hoped that I could use the Torus and Orbit Pro to boost the volume for me, without making it too loud for my wife and others in the room. Unfortunately, even though the Torus/Orbit Pro use the aptX HD Low Latency Bluetooth components, there is still a delay. This delay is bad enough that I have to mute the sound from the TV and Surround sound system to use them. So, for this application, the rating falls to 1 star.

I think better than the Bose Soundwear and more than a third less than it
FIRST AND FOREMOST THESE FIT, I have a huge neck at something like 22in and I have tried half a dozen of these speakers and I was afraid that this was going to be another hard plastic premoulded thing, it's not. The center is flexible (not crazy, but not rigid either), meaning they hug my neck securely without choking me. This is the second product I've bought from them, a brand I knew nothing of or about, just went off of an image looking for a tiny soundbar for my laptop, which by the way, the Avantree Torpedo Plus is amazing, and then saw this was offered as a suggestion too. Curious, I picked it up. I am so glad I did. Pros: -They fit as I've said, have had issues with that in the past, was also a huge issue when shopping for tethered earbuds since I'm not a cans person. Thankfully truly wireless earbuds are now a thing. They fit and are comfortable. I think these could fit up to a 25in neck circumference. -Sound is pretty great in speaker mode, and they get very loud. To the point that they're a little overpowering to your hearing. Great bass that you can feel, literally, like neck massager levels, so that might turn some people off. This device was also the only one I've tried where I got a message from my phone telling me to switch the BT codec to get the best audio quality out of it, and I didn't notice much difference, but the phone knows that these aren't normal BT audio devices. Cons: -In speaker mode the sound quality seems to ONLY be at its best when at max volume, then drops off when decreased. It gets weird sounding like echoie/airy, it's interesting. -Earbuds also seem to drop the quality a bit, but doesn't suffer from the quality loss when the volume is decreased. While on the topic, the switch for the earbuds is hard to find and hard to toggle, which is good and bad. I like that it can't easily fall into earbud mode, but also, means you have to stabilize and support the speaker to toggle it. Conclusion: At 3.33x less than the bose offering these are quite nice and in my opinion a superior offering. I can't wait to do work around the house now. Since I actually don't know what happened to my bose as I'm typing this. Also, with these you don't have to pull back the fabric covering to reveal the charging port. A little warning, don't put them on your dog, he'll freak out, I did not see that response coming out of my Coon Hound. So, yeah, I might buy more of these and will definitely be buying more from this company. Glad I found them.

You really want this!
Once you have these, you'll wonder why this is not a industry standard. A little about me, I am a professional singer, musician, and producer. This is what I do for a living. So these Headphones will not give you professional headphone sounds. To be honest, no earbuds will, not even the $200 dollar apple pods. With that being said, This wereable speaker out shines any earbuds out there! I bought the BRDOOGU Bluetooth Headphones Speaker 2 in 1, Wearable Speaker first because these looked bigger and I didn't want to spend 90 bucks. I just didn't think I would get into walking around with speakers around my neck. I was wrong. I ended up giving The BRDOOGUs to my wife. She loves them! They're cheaper but not bad. Both have mics that are adequate, Phone conversations are the same but if you want a little more speaker sound go with this one. They look heavy but are not. I travel a lot. Ear buds in my ear for hours aggravates me. I can listen to my music for hours even sleep with these on! Battery life is INSANE! Very comfortable around my neck. I am 6'3" with a 19" neck so its a little snuggy but not too tight. Sound quality is equal if not better to the best ear buds out there. But the speakers are the winners here. I turn this down very low on long plane rides or on a train and the sound is great. You can play them loud of course but others will hear your music. This is my second review ever on Amazon and I've been a customer since the beginning. Avantree is ahead of the game on Bose , Sony etc. They both have wereable speakers but not with earbuds. This is what make these things a game changer. I do not go anywhere without them.

The battery life youve been searching for.
Great device, I'm an auto mechanic, been using this daily for 11 months, I only use it in speaker mode and this plays all day and half of the next if I forget to charge, durable in harsh conditions, sounds good, highly reccomend for those looking for no hassle with remote control of volume and skipping and pause if you need to talk and battery isnt even comparable to other lame devices.

Honesty
Ive had this for a couple months now. I wear this all day. Likes are the sound quality with ear buds and surround sound is awesome with shows, movies and music. Dislike how heavy and bulky unit is. Also every phone call sound quality is great on my end but everyone else says they can't hear me or i sounds far away and I have to shut off my headset and us my phone. I don't recommend this as a phone useful device due to having to shut it off every call. Also dislike the fabric is peeling off significantly and looks like crap. I will be glueing it back. Honestly I only recommend this if u don't use for calling.

These Neckband Speakers with Earbuds work noticeably well for gaming, music, movies, and video chat.
These Neckband Speakers with Earbuds work noticeably well for gaming, music, movies, Voice over IP, and of course Video Chat lately. They can pair with Multiple Bluetooth devices/phones at the same time. In Neckband Speaker mode you get great sound that also dampens out some level of ambient noise in the room. If they are cranked up loud, you still don't get that panicky earbud twitch worried that your eardrum is going to get blown out testing a set of earphones. Jeezy. But MOST importantly you CAN hear a great deal of your background noise OVER a certain decibel level so you don't feel like your ears are 'plugged up'. The earbuds sound great, as good as any around the neck headset I've used, maybe the best. -Rjr (Me) I experienced an Atmos test video on Youtube with this Neckband on as a speaker around my neck, standing or lying, I got a crazy 3D sound effect, but only if it is truly an Atmos formatted medium or similar Surround Sound system. Spoiler Alert: My "Game" name is always INTP, it cuts down on wasting your time getting to know me. I tell you upfront I am an iNTp, so you know I'm down for any idea that you might have, sometimes no matter how preposterous. I'm open ears and a good listener. (My Super Hubby Trait #1) For example, the number 1 reason to buy this headset and try it is to JAM out with the music coming from the Boomerang Sound Speakers. It not only creates a crazy 3D effect if the media has it but still sounds like 4 speaker surround sound comparable to a Dolby Atmos or similar surround sound Experience. But forget the bumbo jumbo gumbo, these things FELT LIKE GETTING A NECK and SHOULDER MASSAGE. I'm not affiliated, I don't have an affiliate link. If you are a GAMER and you use these in SPEAKER MODE, you are immersed in MANY games that are set up for Dolby experience. I think it uses 4 speakers, but that may be another one that I saw but the HOLOPHONIC Youtube(r) videos sound "Astral/Ethereal", the sound moves around your space!

Very smart device
Device was purchased to prevent one loud tv from bothering someone in the next room. The device was easy to pair with the bluetooth function of a Samsung smart tv which is connected to a Tivo box. When the tv and device are both turned on, the tv asks if the Avantree should be connected, and “okay” on the tv remote is all that is needed to connect. The device announces when it is powered on or off. It also announces battery status when turned on (Battery level is high. Battery level is medium.) After four evenings watching tv approximately two an a half hours each, battery level is “medium.” The Tivo remote adjusts the Avantree volume, but the tv remote seems to be necessary to connect it, making it necessary to have both remotes accessible, the only annoying factor. Sound quality is more than adequate for watching television, however, any deep bass comes through with vibration that can be felt. Device is comfortable when reclining in bed by hanging it in front rather than in back of the neck. Have not used the ear buds and having them may account for the device being a little pricey.

Recommended, but Heavy and No Vibration on Incoming Calls
We were looking for a replacement for Samsung Flexx headphones, mainly for convenient call answering in public places. The main requirements were lightness and comfort for wearing, quick and stable connection to the phone, good microphone quality with noise cancellation, and feedback — headphones vibrating when a call comes in, not just the phone. Unfortunately, Samsung Flexx are no longer produced, and we found this device as a partial replacement. The build quality is good, the connection to the smartphone is stable, the microphone works decently, and noise cancellation is present. However, there are significant drawbacks. The biggest issue is the weight of the headphones. They are heavy and uncomfortable for long use. Additionally, they lack vibration feedback for incoming calls, which was very important to us. Perhaps this model was designed for different purposes, not for active call answering. Because of these shortcomings, I gave them a 3 out of 5 rating, as they don’t fit our needs very well. However, for other users with different requirements, these headphones might be a good fit. I recommend carefully assessing your needs and the real capabilities of this device before buying. If weight and lack of vibration feedback are not critical for you, this is a decent option with good build quality and sound.

Awesome Product
This is the best product I have bought for help with hearing the T.V. I have bought both over the ear headphones from Avantree and in ear headphones. Both had good sound and low latency but they were awkward to wear and you couldn't hear if someone spoke to you. It was annoying. So I bought the neckband and it is fantastic. The sound is awesome, my ears don't hurt, I can converse with others and no-one else has to listen to a loud T.V anymore. The battery life is great. I can't recommend this product highly enough. Awesome!!

Excelente producto y servicio.

Top Schulterlautsprecher
Also braucht es keinen teuren Bluetooth Adapter. Ansonsten ist dieser Lautsprecher TOP, gerade für Hörhilfen Träger optimal. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!

I didn't know I needed this!
I got this wearable speaker because I wanted to watch streaming TV on my balcony with my tablet. Most bluetooth speakers have high latency, so audio won't match the video. To solve this problem, I specifically searched for a speaker that supported APTX Low Latency, and this popped up; I didn't even know wearable speakers were a thing. I am using this with a Samsung S4 tablet, which supports APTX and APTX HD, but not APTX LL, so I though I would have to use an APTX LL dongle through the headphone port, but it turned out to not be the case. The latency of the default bluetooth codec turned out to be low enough to not be noticeable (it's off by maybe a frame), not sure which codec it actually uses. The wearableness is also better than a table speaker because the audio is constant and balanced no matter how you move. And you can feel the bass rumble in your bones. I also like the feature when you turn it on, the speaker verbalizes its connection status and battery life. When this arrived, my wife liked it so much that she commandeered it (I may have to get another one); she has tried multiple brands of air buds and doesn't like the low battery life and how they fall to the ground if they fall out, which the speaker solves. She uses it primarily in ear bud mode while out for walks. and reports that she does get some audio drop outs at a certain spot on the street, so likely an interference zone (not sure if its bluetooth interference or cellphone data dropout; likely the latter). I have not had any drop outs on my balcony streaming high quality video over wifi. And if we stop at a park for an impromptu picnic, we can turn it to speaker mode for tunes. So overall, love it!

Fantastico
