I ordered this for my sewing room. My husband installed it right away, it didn't take long. He had to use different anchor screws because it was attached to wallboard, not studs. That being said, it is super sturdy. It is small enough to not be obtrusive if I leave it down (it is down most of the time) but big enough for me to iron my tops and dresses. For sheets, I would take out my large ironing board. It flips up easily and dropping it down takes no more than a second. I love it! I was going to get one that has a cabinet around it for that built-in look. But my mother has one and it is just super bulky and quite noticeable (and also open all the time). I am glad I went with this one - I saved money and space.

Overview: As described. Experience: Yep as described and in keeping with other reviews, that's good for 4 stars. I don't give 5 stars unless it does all that and does something exceeding expectations, like sing and dance. Heavy duty rigid frame rated at 25lbs I held held in place with screws set into wall anchors, Very east easy to install and very well made. Again meets expectations in function and build quality.

So far so good. I have mounted the board, but haven't used it yet. It's mounted into a 2x4 wall cavity and fits easily. (Need to move on to other rooms, and after laundry room gets drywall I will finish the cabinet around this ironing board). Some of the in-wall ironing board seem so expensive for what you get. I was concerned about how sturdy this one would be, for the price. But seems entirely adequate for the intended use. I wouldn't set down full laundry baskets on the end of this, but of ironing it seems plenty strong.

This is a great option for small spaces

Love this ironing Board! It installed quickly with 4 screws and little effort and is so easy to use. The release lever moves smoothly and makes it super easy to drop down and put back into place. I love that I know longer need to set up and take down an ironing board. It’s smaller than a standard one but large enough to get the job done. It’s also great for small spaces. My only complaint is that I didn’t buy it sooner! It really takes the “work” out of ironing my clothes.

Surprised my wife by getting this board and installing it and she loved it! We both used it everyday.

This is exactly as advertised. Works very well. Two minor negative comments: It comes with 4 LARGE molly bolts, that extend well past the inside surface of the drywall. If you use them on an outside wall, they will puncture the vapor barrier on the insulation. Hot a good idea in a laundry area. Use regular drywall anchors instead, since they will handle far more than the required weight. (The ironing board did NOT come with screws for fastening into studs.) There is a brace on the bottom of the board, that is angled up from the bottom of the wall bracket. That requires installing the ironing board assembly several inches higher than the top of a washer or dryer (if that's where you are installing it) than I would have liked.

I originally had an ironing board that was designed to hang over a door. It finally wore out and I bought the ironing board listed above. It was smaller than my previous one but it really had equal room as there were no supports under the board and now I can slip a skirt the whole length of the board. Very sturdy and easy to assemble and use. I love it.

So handy to use and put away (just flips up). Yes, a bit shorter than ‘full size’ ironing boards but perfect for anything that I iron. So nice that cords don’t tangle at the bottom like on traditional ironing board. Simple but works exactly as needed.

Great size both for ironing and folding away. Great product. AFTER reading the reviews about securing the board to the wall, we found a stud for one side, secured it using longer screws, then on the other side we used better fasteners with longer screws. Before screwing the frame to the wall, we put silicon adhesive around the frame to adhere it to the wall which added extra strength to secure it.
