I could smell it before I opened the box. The bottle was wrapped with tape around the lid, and the bottle itself was inside another plastic container which was inside a bag. I made sure I had a clean area set up with plastic and paper towels. I wore grease monkey disposable mechanics gloves. I made sure not a drop leaked or contaminated the area, and it still took hours for the smell to dissipate. Wear gloves and work on a garbage bag with a layer of paper towels. Not a complaint at all, but here's a word of caution: the bottle leaked and the tape was gooey. Probably because it's extremely potent.
