Great product and awesome customer service!
I purchased this item and cant say enough positive about it. I've had them for two years. Worked perfectly. Had a small issue with a mount bolt and called Vortex Optics about it. They replaced the entire mount and so I give Vortex Optics two thumbs up! Great company! Great Products!

Good for intended purposes
Really nice set for the money, easy to install and fairly straightforward to sight in. The only problem is the night mode and brightness up to level 5 doesn’t work, thought it was the battery but it’s just how it is. Great sight picture and clear dot setting level 6+

The magnifiers adds some weight!
Excellent quality. Quite durable! I beat it hard! Clean glass, easy to adjust. Stays on zero. Has been on a mck with Glock 19x and ar22. Only wish it had motion activated wake up. Battery life is amazing. I did not use the included battery I always use medical grade batteries from Duracell! Keep making awesome affordable optics! Thank you vortex! Love the riser and the easy quick intensity adjustment! The magnifier is awesome easy to zero and eliminate the venom diagram effect. Easy to swivel in and out! Adds weight would prefer crossfire II 1-4 lpvo!

Learned a Lesson
I tried going cheap with a different set of optics from ?, and paid the price so to speak. Watched a few youtube channels, listened to their reviews and tried Vortex out. Immediately pleased. Had a few issues with missing 2 scews for the high mounting plate but an email that day, got a response from vortex, next day part shipped for free, got it 3 days later.Second problem was the mounting bolt/screw that attaches to the pict rail. I torqued it to tight lol and after 100 rnds or so, the bolt snapped and optic almost fell off. This was my fault. I checked the grain structure, etc., and it was fine but I know I cranked it down (first optic, didnt read how much pressure to use). Regardless, next morning sent email, reply in 30min, end of day I had a tracking number for part and received 3 days later. That lifetime warranty is worth it.Now to the review of the optic.Caveat. Got out of the USMC in 2011, so Im an Iron SIghts guy. Got to use a ACOG about 3months before EAS, so not overly familiar with optics.Still trying to figure which red dot works best for me, but they are clear and visible. Since Im not used to optics, took me sometime to zero it (once again, didnt read or research how to do it) but slowly got tight shot groups.Switching to the 3x magnifier, that took time too but not as much as the red dot. Dialed it in faster and once again, started getting tight groups. Not 100% perfect but that is operator error, not the optic.Read the manual, watch some videos, etc. on how to operate the product properly, then put the range time in for it.I can say this after my experience and verified after the fact from youtubers like Garand Thumb, Donut Operator, Demolition Ranch, Brandon Herrera, Lucas at T-Rex...do not buy cheap with optics. Get quality brands with proven results. If this is for home defense, hunting, ops or WWIII prep, don't skip on something so vital in saving your life. Vortex got themselves a lifelong customer.Best of luck.

optics are great magnifier is horrible
got the dot sighted in easily, and hel up while shooting prone, standing, and moving. its what I expect from vortex. however the magnifier is hot garbage! the eye relief is terrible, and the screws to attach to the mount are not properly sized, and flat heads, who uses flat heads on fine dcres anymore? tightened down as much and hard as possible and still not enough to secure to the mount. it jiggles all over the place! can't get the dot lined up well at all and accuracy is horrible through it. sticker on magnifier says made in china...great...poor quality scope and overpriced! dot is great but with a useless scope...its expensive
