Q: Has anyone washed it gently in machine or do u have to hand wash?

I have not washed mine yet, but my personal suggestion and how I will wash is to turm inside out and soak in bathroom sink with gentle rub in underarm area and just swoosh it in the water with my hand, let it soak a bit and then drain and rinse in cold water, gently squeeze water out, hang in shower to drip most water out and then turn right side out and dry flat on a towel. I don't think it could handle the washer even in a mesh washing bag as the sequins may snag.

Q: Does the color Champagne appear more gold or rose gold?

I'd have to say neither. it's not gold good. The top most part is almost like a beige gold. Not quite Pink, not quite gold either so champagne it is. I was skeptical but very pleased with the color accuracy. I didn't want gold, or Pink.
