Avène Revitalizing Nourishing Cream, Ultra Nourishing Face Moisturizer, Non-comedogenic 1.6 Fl Oz

This moisturizer is wonderful. I have dry sensitive skin and it leaves my face feeling soft and glowing.

I had been using Avene Compensating cream for years before it was reformulated and renamed as “Revitalizing” in (as I remember) 2020. At the time, every single comment I saw complained about its pilling and its getting worse after reformulation. Every single comment wished for the old formulation back. Because Avene Compensating was PERFECT for me, I got very anxious after reading the comments and decided not to purchase the new Revitalizing cream. I jumped around from products to products for the last 2 years (from expensive La Mer cream, Cle de peau La Creme, Lancome soft cream, Amorepacific Time Response to less expensive Clarins Hydra, Embryolisse). Nothing beat Avene Compensating cream. Nothing came close to Avene Compensating cream in terms of giving my easily irritated skin that clear, well moisturized, trouble-free, healthful look. Fast forward to the week of Thanksgiving 2022 after I got back from a Las Vegas trip with terribly dry and dehydrated reddish skin that nothing helped (and I always use sheet masks daily), I decided to give Avene Revitalizing a try. Worst case scenario, I would waste my $40 that I, very likely, would otherwise waste on another non Avene moisturizer. I’m so grateful I gave it a try. I don’t know if Avene listened to its loyal customers and brought the old formulation back, or if they improved the new formulation that pilled, but the Avene Revitalizing cream (I tried both rich and regular versions) did not pill at all for me and as far as I can still remember, Avene Compensating cream felt the same to me. After 2 nights of Avene Revitalizing, my skin is pretty much back to normal now. I think this is the old formulation but I can’t say for sure because it was more than 2 years ago when I last used the cream, but no matter what, if it keeps being what it is now, I will be a customer for life. Please Avene. Don’t change formulation again.

Just used the cream on a clean face, and I like it. It is delicately perfumed, which I do not mind and a little bit goes a long way. I have mature skin and it feels so great. I don’t know how it will behave when I put on my brow pencil. Will update. I would be willing to try some of their other products.UPDATE: the cream works beautifully under makeup. I would definitely buy it again.

Forget all those high priced moisturizers this is the best value for your money. The, skin deep hydration is amazing. No smells amazing performance from a amazing product.

I've been using Avene for years and have found it enormously helpful with my sensitive skin. I am 53 and my skin doesn't like to be "pushed" with all of the anti-aging ingredients in so many of the product lines. It isn't the cleanest line (some of their products are mineral oil based) but it works -- especially with their hyaluronic acid.

I have tried other creams but afraid this is the best. It is ,unfortunately , very expensive and in a plastic jar.

As I got older my skin became more sensitive, and red in tone. This is an excellent product I first experienced while getting a facial. This moisturizer is excellent for sensitive skin. I have enjoyed it and have used this product line for over 2 years. I highly recommend it!

My dermatologist recommended Avene to me to use because of the high quality. I started with their sunscreen and now I use all their products. They have no perfume, no additives, and they do well for dry skin. I have relatively dry skin and I combine two of the products for the perfect moisture. The price matches the quality. GREAT products for me. I am 52 and have used Avene for 3 years. Try it!
