Instead of a scoring chart for each test, there is a single generic formula (right/total * 36) and then a correction factor (+ or - a point or two, depending on the subsection). It seems likely more valid for scores closer to the mean & not so great for the outliers.

As an ACT Tutor it is difficult to find quality publications that offer a decent amount of testing materials. My students like the fact that they get 10 full length practice exams out of this book. I find the questions on par with the real college board prepared materials. We generally start with the college board book (red edition) and then "graduate" to this workbook.

My daughter is in high school and is starting to take ACTs. Seems like series of good practice tests. Judging by my daughter's complaints, its a really good test prep material :-)

This is a great practice set.I used it and then passed it off to my cousin. It is still relavent today and does a great job prepping you for the test. It's not an easy test, so being ready in advance is useful, and strategies are just as important as running practice questions.Grab up this book and you will have all you need to get ready.

I knew it was written in because it said it was in the description. But I did not realize it had the answers to the math section. So that part was useless to me. But I am still using it for the other subjects.
