These are the OEM plugs for my 2014 BMW R1200GSA (should fit any water boxer motor). Runs like a champ! Kept the old plugs "just in case". The plugs are deep in the motor, you'll need a 14mm thin walled spark plug socket to get them out. I picked up one by Motion Pro at my local b&m, no issues, and definitely cheaper than the factory tool.

I used run this model spark plugs when i had my BMW GS R1200. noticeable improvements on engine operation. Highly recommend

These plugs are made for the new liquid cooled BMW Boxer motorcycles, no other spark plug will currently fit. At BMW's suggested service interval (12,000 miles) for these plugs the center electrode is showing significant wear, evidently these engines are hard on spark plugs, other than that the plugs do what spark plugs are designed to do. The cost of these are a buck or two less on Amazon then the dealer. I knocked a star off due to the high price and the fact that they are just a standard 2-electrode plug.

Ho acquistato questa coppia di candele NGK LMAR8D-J (93444) per la mia BMW R 1200 GS del 2018 e la differenza si è sentita fin dal primo avviamento. Perfetta compatibilità: Sono le candele specifiche per il motore Boxer raffreddato a liquido. Si installano perfettamente e rispettano i rigorosi standard richiesti da BMW. Erogazione fluida: Dopo la sostituzione, il motore ha ripreso la sua fluidità ai bassi regimi. Sono spariti quei piccoli tentennamenti che avvertivo al minimo e l'erogazione è tornata lineare e corposa su tutto l'arco dei giri. Partenze immediate: Anche a freddo, la moto si accende al primo colpo senza esitazioni. La qualità dell'accensione NGK è una garanzia per chi, come me, usa la moto tutto l'anno. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Comprandole online e procedendo alla sostituzione (operazione abbastanza semplice sul GS), si risparmia notevolmente rispetto ai prezzi della rete ufficiale, pur montando esattamente lo stesso componente di primo impianto. In conclusione: Se avete un GS 1200 LC, non cercate alternative: le NGK LMAR8D-J sono le candele giuste per mantenere le prestazioni del motore al top e viaggiare in totale sicurezza.
