Oh man installing this was a breeze. I can't believe someone was throwing out their thunderbolt monitor because the glass was cracked. It took longer to line this up than it did to take the old glass off. Made sure to clean both sides and wear gloves before installing. Holy heck this thing glares like the sun though. There's so much glare on the thunderbolt screen that I moved it to the home office where I can control the lights instead of using it at the work office where the lights are on all the time. Good glass though, would buy again.

I bought a thunderbolt on auction for $100 so when I cracked the screen during a move, I was so bummed! I was looking for a solution, and this was extremely easy to install. I popped off the old cracked screen, and this one fit right in! Love it and would recommend anyone wanting to replace a cracked screen. No glares or issues with the quality. My 10 year old thunder bolt display looks brand new!

I got this Thunderbolt display at work after someone broke the glass and they were going to trash it. I quickly figured out that the glass part comes off rather easily and this product was the perfect fix. It even has the apple logo where some others didn't. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased a used Apple Thunderbolt Display a few months ago, and when the glass broke after it fell off an unstable table at, I thought it was done for. But once I found out that it was just the glass and not the actual display portion and that it was easy to replace, I made this purchase and was not disappointed. This is an excellent replacement. I hope that I won't need another ever again, but it's good to know that these were available. Highly Recommended.

A couple of years ago my wife threw our G-Technologies 2TB external hard drive into my monitor and smashed the glass front. Fortunately for me, the old shattered glass cover came off really easily after I realized it was only held on by magnets, and everything still worked with the unprotected LED screen ... but the outer edge was garish. I was hesitant to immediately replace it as there were other heavy objects in the area. Fast forward to earlier this month, I finally placed my Amazon order for a new glass cover. It arrived very quickly, was well packaged, in flawless condition, and installed in seconds ... I now have a brand new monitor and live at a safe distance from my (now) ex wife.

I cracked the glass on my A1316 so I needed a replacement. Ordered here. It arrived in three days packed securely in a foam lined box and then in an outer box with the shipping label. Removal from shipping was easy. Installation was super easy and quick. I applied some shipping tape to the cracks of the old glass and gently pried it off the monitor. I removed the inner plastic from the new glass, lined up the detents and it fit perfectly. I removed outer shipping plastic film and now you wouldn't know this was replacement glass.

It looks just like the original. It went on in about one minute. I hope I don’t break this one like I did the last two:)

Arrived quickly. Well packed (box) in soft foam. Removable plastic film on both front & back. Removed old cracked glass with suction cup. New glass snapped right in place first try. Looks perfect right down to Apple logo. Total time about 15 minutes.
