Fited the Mitsubishi Galant 2012 comes with a 2-pack of silicone material.

Everything fit but for some reason the buttons wouldn't work with the 3 piece shell for lock and unlock. I had to replace it with the old push button shell and it worked. Now it's extremely sensitive to the touch whenever I double press lock. But I wanted the outter shell regardless. So I'm satisfied.

I have bought this product over 3 times now, to be blunt and straight to the point, it gets the job done, it will appear like a brand new key fob, but if you're planning for a long term solution I would suggest just get one at the dealership for the over 50 dollar cost.I very carefully put mine together but one will realize how over time the plastic just appears to break easier than my original case, and you'll see the joints slowly chip away, but it will last you a good amount of months and for its price, it is worth it.I don't mind spending 6-8 dollars each 4-6 months, but if this frustrates you I would recommend something else.The 3rd pic shows my previous purchase, it is very slowly coming apart even with a plastic fob protector, the seams need to be pressed back into place at times.Other than those aspects, putting it together is easy and screwing it in is also quick, will look brand new and the packaging is convenient, the screw driver they provide also seems to be underrated, have used it for other stuff.Overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a quick replacement.

My old key has a broken key chain holder and the plastic securing it in place broke off. I was hoping that this would've just replaced everything besides the internals and the key but I was mistaken sadly. The screw to secure the key in place dont exactly keep it tight and my old key wasn't screwed in so that's neither here nor there. The big issue is the buttons, the ones that came with the fob are way too big and they push up on the internals causing it to flash. My cars alarm went off 3 times before I opened it again (it's not easy to open compared to the old fob) and just used the old buttons. But that still didnt work so I had to remove the alarm button off the fob just to stop it from going off again. Its works now but the hassle and the fact I have less than my old key leaves much to be desired. I'm happy I have a key chain so that's that I guessEDIT: 3/28/2022I came back from the store and when I put the key in ignition the entire key fob with the key fell apart. The side panels that close it are absolutely worthless and its not like being aggressive with it on purpose. This cost me 8 dollars but I can guarantee you the plastic shell itself is worth 40 cents tops. I gave this POS a 2 star because it was at least better to have a key chain and no alarm button then have none to begin within. But now? I'm worse off then when I started. I don't care that I spent 8 dollars on a waste of plastic, I'm outraged that this scam has 4 stars when it should have 1.0. DO NOT BUY THIS, IT WILL BREAK ON YOU.

This was a life saver! We thought we were going to have to pay hundreds of dollars at the dealership to replace our key. This was the perfect solution. Good as new!

The design to host the key solves the cutting problem for Lancer 2010 original key part; but the shell itself is too tight to hold the original button pad/chip core.To make it work, I used the button pad from another key shell product below to fit the tight design of this shell:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072HTN8JD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1As this product solves major need in my mind, i gave 3 stars.BTW, this key shell doesn't design a gap to open the shell as the OEM part.

I bought this 8 months ago and was super easy to switch the key and computer part from broken fob to this one. The old one would not stay together and broken where goes on key ring. This is a simple fix! It does not have the Mitsubishi symbol on back but I can live with that. I do wish it still have the bump on the lock button so just have to feel for it instead of looking but I may be able to remedy that with a drop of super glue or something. Buy this as a replacement, not the one you have to have key cut. I got that one too and it does not work!

The shell of my key of my Eclipse 2007 broke and I purchased this item to replace it. Could not be happier with the purchase. All I had to do was take out the fob and metal key from the existing shell and put it in the new shell and that's it! Works perfectly and saved me a trip to the dealership and over $100 dollars. Highly recommend!
