Liquid lubricant that works well
My original lubricant was a solid. This is a liquid. Seems to work the same as the solid lubricant but is a little messy. Because it is a liquid, it will temporarily soak through the treadmill belt. A little harder to distribute evenly across the treadmill surface versus a solid. Enough lubricant for 4 applications which may make it a little expensive per application.

Just what my treadmill deserves
This stuff works just as described. I suspect that most people that have treadmills NEVER lube the belt or the plate that it slides on. I have had my treadmill for 10+ years and keep it lubed and as a result the plate beneath the belt is almost as good as its first day. If the plate wears out it will destroy the bottom side of the belt and THAT is a major expense and a mechanical repair/replacement. The Treadmill Wax simply sprays under the belt from both sides and then you run the belt at low speed WITHOUT anyone on it to spread the wax lube. After that you are good for another month or so depending upon usage. Having used dry beads as well as Treadmill Wax I think this is easier. Treadmill Wax, Waxed Based Lubricant, Belt Lube

Complete waste of time - received 100% silicone lube
Spent ages researching what lube is usable for my Nordictrack 2450. While silicone lube for treadmills is sold all over the place everything official says "Nope, definitely has to be wax based, silicone causes treadmill belt breakdown". Since the official Nordictrack maintenance kit is $50+ I was happy to find this product for just the wax. However on receipt of my order low and behold the wax based lube shows up as a 2oz bottle of "Treadmill lube 100% silicone". Either this was a mistake or they have decided wax lube is no longer required, either way I'm not happy. I already have silicone lube and could have saved a lot of bother. If I hear anything back from them I'll update but for now I'll advise you don't order this product if you're really looking for wax.

An eye-dropper would work just fine too.
My treadmill is advertised as a lubricant-free belt, but that really only lasts for about a year or so of light running (3 miles, 3x/week). After that, no lubricant results in a destroyed padding/plastic under the belt. For the second go-around, once the belt starts doing its little "catch" or "slip", I start applying this lubricant. I add it about once every 3-4 weeks and it's been working for the past few months. I use (and re-use) a plastic disposable 1-mL syringe. An eye-dropper would work just fine too.

It works with my older treadmill.
It comes in a small bottle with directions that say to pour 2 oz under the walking belt. However, it has no measurements for determing how much is actually 2 oz. Furthermore, there is no way to "pour" a capful of this stuff on the walking belt without making a mess. I actually ended up pouring a little on a paper towel and smearing it on the platform under the walking belt. It was difficult, but the treadmill seems to be working much better since I applied it.

No More Squeaky Treadmill
I love it! If you're on the treadmill everyday like I am you're bound to have the belt get a little dry. Once I started using this treadmill wax the noises went away and I was able to run as though I were in a quiet field. Treadmill wax isn't something you'd think you'd need until you don't have it. I would most definitely get this again, should I run out, but there is plenty in the bottle and it doesn't take much to get the job done.

No applicator
No applicator. Hard to apply/use without loosening the belt. Product otherwise seems ok.

The wax-based product I was able to find
The only problem of this product, in my opinion, is that it is very thin. Never expected to see a wax bases solution almost as liquid as water. Despite that, it lubricates well and is designed for older treadmills. I have a Pro-Form 6.0 RT. Note: make sure to tighter the belt correctly after the lubrication process.
