Computer desk relief!
I saw there were deals on these types of machines on Prime Day, so I started researching on them as I always wanted one. Although this brand/model wasn’t included on any deal that day, I decided to purchase it as I was suffering from intense carpal tunnel / cervical / shoulder pain - basically my entire right side was in pain (computer use) .As soon as it was delivered I charged it, and once it was ready to use I tried it on my cervical. I placed the electrodes accordingly as the guide it comes with suggests and it immediately felt amazing. About 60 min later I tried the carpal tunnel positioning.I am so happy I finally got this! It is such a great and efficient pain relief tool. I sit at my computer desk for hours at a day, and use mouse / Wacom tablet or I stand a lot cooking / cleaning - so my back and right arm give me a great deal of pain. I also have a sensitive stomach, so I don’t like taking pain reliever meds. The machine itself is super easy to use. I decided on this model vs the ones with an lcd screen and bells and whistles because in my mind keeping it analog and simple makes it for less stuff to malfunction. It is also rechargeable which is great as batteries are a hassle and wasteful. The knobs slide easily and securely. It feels solid overall. My right side feels much better today and the only thing I regret is not getting one of these earlier in my life.

Totally analog controls, works great
I've had mine for at least a year. If you want total adjustability, " ANALOG CONTROLS ARE THE WAY TO GO!"Since then I've bought two other tens units that have digital settings. The first one was total digital. Very disappointed on how that one worked. The second one was in the same form factor as the one sold here and though the top controls were analog the settings are digital and don't seem to have as much power as the totally analog unit. The only negative issue is with the wires. The plugs that plug into the unit will at some point ( depending on how often you use it ) will break internally and create an open circuit. This means you will have to buy new wires but new wires are available on Amazon and cost about $7 a set. I always order mine ahead of time so I have them if one wire stops working. This tens unit used to cost less but now is over $50 which is a bit much but still worth buying IMO. If you want some ZING from your tens machine this little bugger will surprise you.

I like A6 over the Tens 7000
Yes! This is exactly what I needed to provide much needed relief from nerve pain, specially sciatica. This is replacing my old tens 3000 unit that ran on 9 volt batteries. The reason I purchased this unit was because it has a rechargeable battery. No more having to go out to buy batteries that i go through very quickly. Here is what I love about this unit:Rechargable battery! Huge plus!No timer, I need a unit I can shut off when I am ready to shut it off, not a silly timer.Constant current, you will be surprised how many other units have wave and intermittent current, but no constant current.Super strong current, I can adjust it as high or low as i want it, dont have to worry about it being too weak. Its analog. No silly screens, menus, or settings, just some knobs and dials.Small, compact, lightweight, feels well made and comes with a storage case. Here is what i would like to see improved:Even though this unit is analog, the adjustability dial feels very digital. By that I mean that when i adjust the setting from 3 to 4, its an instant jump from 3 to 4, its not gradual. Someone with nerve pain may not like the sudden jolt from one setting to the next. The top adjustment dials should have a safety cover. This unit has a belt clip, so if its on my waist, i dont want to accidentally turn the top dial from 3 to 10 accidentally zapping me.Usb charging cable, its 2020, can we move from the micro usb to a usb-c cable. I dont like fumbling with cables to make it fit, it should just fit. A usb-c cable will fix thisAs you can see, my dislikes are very minimal and do not outweigh my likes. This unit has provided me so much relief in the time it has taken me to write this review. If you can afford the Istim A6 over the Tens 7000, go for it.Hope this helps someone find some relief
