Roar Trex, Green

Bought this for my grandson for his third birthday as he is mad on dinosaur's. It is very well made and soft and cuddly. My grandson loved it and I did too. I also liked the fact it wasn't all green and the blue tummy helped to break the green up.I think it is made of a polyester material, which has a scale print. I did think about the price before I bought it, as it does seem a lot but when it arrived I felt it would last him for some time and toys are expensive.

my little boy loves the books so ive bought him the soft toys, he loves them. as an energetic 4 year old they get a good battering and they are still holding strong. very good purchase.

You’d expect a dinosaur with big teeth and big claws would be something that would give a child nightmares. The contrary is true. This is a nice cuddly toy that any child would love. It could easily replace the teddy bear for night-time comforting.Looking at it in the photos and you would think that it has a furry finish but it doesn’t. It’s hard to describe what it’s made of but it’s like a waxed finish. You can actually feel the scales on the surface. Even so, it’s still feels soft and cuddly.I can see that the construction has considered the safety aspects, especially for the very young and babies. The only part that could cause problems is the dinosaurs’ eyes but I can feel they have used proper approved safety eyes that should pose no dangers. I would be more than happy to give this toy to a new born baby.Overall, a nice, well-made and safe cuddly toy for any age. It's just a tad expensive in my opinion.

It's quite an achievement to make a Tyrannosaurus Rex cute and cuddly but somehow Dinosaur Roar have managed it. Dinosaur Roar is a massively successful book for toddlers written and illustrated by Paul and Henrietta Stickland that has sold over 5 million copies worldwide. It was followed by "The World Of Dinosaur Roar" books by Paul Curtis. The books have spawned several spin off products,backpacks,colouring books and of course the soft toys of which this is one.The T.Rex is really well made with an unusual shiny green surface to reproduce the scales of the real thing , aside from the eyes the whole thing is incredibly soft ,including the claws and teeth so a lot less harmless than the beast it's modelled on and the manufacturers say the toy is suitable from birth upwards. Those manufacturers are Aurora of Korea who a major name in the soft toy world and make such things under licence as the Gruffalo, Sean the Sheep, Peanuts character, Dr Seuss characters, Moomin and many more.A great toy that's very well made,safe,colourful and will delight young dinosaur fans.
