VasqueWomen's St. Elias Waterproof HIking Boot

Great boots, they look sharp and they're comfortable right out of the box. I tend to have a problem where my toes are very sensitive to pressure from a boot or to pressing into the front or top of a boot - and going up in size tends to make the problem worse because my foot slides around and jams into the front of the boot - leather boots tend to have this problem to a great degree for me and I use leather boots for yardwork because they hold up to shovel digging & other work and they don't get sopping wet from wet grass or mud.These Vasque boots have a very roomy toe box and at the same time fit snuggly (not tight - snug) around the rest of my foot - so your foot doesn't slide side to side or forward, the toe area doesn't press down anywhere.And these boots look sharp - in fact it was hard to wear them out in the garden the first time because I knew they were going to be subjected to digging, lawn mowing etc. Then I realized that the price was so good I could buy another pair for non-messy work...so that's what I'm about to do!! Vasque is a great boot company!

Excellent boots! I don't usually like shoes immediately, but I did these. After hurricane Helene are backyard forest has been a disaster and sludging through has been very difficult. These are waterproof and very supportive while being comfortable as well.

Good value for the money. I would probably go up a size. Color was slightly lighter than I thought it would be. but it's still a good color

Great sturdy boot that is truly waterproof! They are not cheap but they are worth it. Sturdy soles for any surface and lace up tight to keep the pebbles out. They are heavy, but no more than other leather hiking boots. I walk in tall grasses on uneven surfaces and large gravel, and they keep me steady.

I had a pair of Vasque shoes for years, and when the sole wore out, I knew I wanted the same brand again, because that pair was so amazingly comfortable from the day I bought it. I've had the same great experience with this pair! I have been wearing them around all day, and even brand new, they feel great. Warm, cozy and no blisters! I can't wait to take them on some hikes.I've seen others rate these shoes as "running small," but I ordered them in my usual size (8) and they fit perfectly. I typically wear a solid size 8, and they feel AMAZING.I wasn't sure from the product photo whether they'd look more brown or red/orange in person. Definitely a great shade of brown. I tried posting a photo, but I'm having trouble getting it to load.

The media could not be loaded. Durable, stable, slip resistance water resistant, real leather, inside and outside support. Lateral support which is crucial. Disliked that one shoe lace not quite as long as needed.

These are amazing boots. Go a 1/2 size bigger For summer socks n 1 size bigger for heavy winter socks. The leather gives a little with wear.I used to only wear Keene but their products are not the same anymore. My foot is stable. Heel fits well. Ankle is well supported. I have 2 pair. Winter n summer hiking.

This review is of the seller, not the product. I actually quite liked this boot, as it comes up very high on the ankle and is very supportive, but needed a slightly large size. When purchased it was listed as free returns, so I planned to return it and purchase one size larger. However when I went to return it I was told I’d receive $8 less of my refund to cover shipping. That’s ridiculous, and definitely not free returns. Unfortunately I’d already purchased the size larger, so if it doesn’t work I’ll be out $16 due to false advertising. In the future will be making sure not to purchase from this seller.
