Beautuful and smooth metal, unlike one I bought somewhere else
I love this foot for free motion quilting. It is smooth and fits my Juki TL2010Q machine perfectly. I bought a universal one from another company that came with a quilting ruler. This one fits much nicer and the needle falls right in the center, unlike the one I had. It is polished and smooth and a great price!

To low on machine bed!
Does not fit my Pfaff, Janome, or Brother low shank machines. The foot is too low on the machine bed to fit the quilt sandwich under it. What are they thinking?

Too tight against fabric for my Brother Sewing Machine
Feed dogs down and this is so tight against my quilt sandwich it won't even move. Terrible purchase!!!

CANNOT USE! TOO LOW TO BED!
Wayyyyyy too low to machine bed. Cannot move quilt sandwich around to quilt. Waste of money! This is way too low. Bought to use with quilting rulers.. impossible!I ordered on May 21.. it did not ship until June 1. I did get it the next day, that's the only good thing I can say about it right now.

Same size as the 1/2” ruler Original foot, this one says it’s 1/4” Ruler Foot. Good knockoff
I’ve shown in my photo both the Juki ruler foot (I have a TL 18QVp the foot I got for about $40 from sewing parts online less than the $60 or so the stores where the sewing machines have it ) and the one purchased from Amazon Is next to it on the left. The foot is The same size and it does center the needle properly for the Juki. (NOTE The westalee ruler foot does not fit the Juki models because the needle is not centered and the Juki has no way to change the centering on the needle.) Both these feet shown in the photo, work well. The Amazon foot is thicker but lightweight doesn’t look as durable, has no spring adjustment which admittedly is not that necessary for my model as the machine has some adjustment already in its latest model although I’ve not needed that either. The main difference, it’s a little harder to see your stitching on the knock off Amazon ruler foot. Apparently all the ruler feet do a 1/4” stitch from the edge of the ruler foot to the needle. Some say 1/2” ruler foot, this one says it’s a 1/4” ruler foot but it’s the same total outer diameter I don’t see the difference in its size I actually thought the Amazon saying it’s a 1/4” foot would be smaller. So I wasted my money on this not worth returning it was my misunderstanding of the descriptions. I wanted to be able to use the rulers saying 1/4” ruler foot when I had a 1/2” ruler foot as specified for this machine. So the 1/4” ruler foot I suppose means it stitches 1/4” from the edge, whereas the 1/2” ruler foot is 1/2” in diameter. So confusing that they are the same thing as far as size, if you didn’t buy the originally specified ruler foot (it’s shown on my machine in that photo) then this would be a cheap knock off, might not last and harder to see the stitching but I had to hunt for a better price on the original foot, so this knock off is a great price and it works for the Juki models like the 2000 original and my newer upgraded version TL-18QVP

Call and Check to See If It Fits Your Machine Model
It’s a very nice foot, but it did not work on my Brother 950D (too close to throatplate. With feeddogs lowered, could not get slim quilt sandwich under the needle), and it was too small for the shank of my Designer Diamond. Could not even screw it on.How can I return it?

Needle way off center
The needle is quite off-center with my Pfaff 2140. This was not the case with the dreamstitch brand. I will be returning it.
