I love these sponges!
I love these sponges, they do what they need and are longer lasting than nasty cheap plastic ones you get in the supermarket. They are a little dearer but they last longer (a box lasted us well over a year) and they are better for the planet! Came in eco packaging too unlike a lot of brands.

Great product!
It's so hard to find proper cellulose sponges these day (not those foam sponges sold in most shops)! Waitrose used to carry them, but it's been ages since they have been in stock, so I was glad to see these. They are very sturdy but absorbent and think they will endure a lot of scrubbing. I like their neutral colour too.

Do the job and holding up well after a few weeks of use.
UpdateI have been very impressed with them. They seem to go dry and crusty when they are left, but as soon as they are wet then become flexible again. I have been using these for several months now and have only gone through 3 of them (only using for pans as we have a dishwasher). I will be buying again when I run out.Still on the first one after a few weeks of use. We do have a dish washer so only using for items that can't go in the washer. They seem to curl a little when dry but spring back after running under a tap.I will buy again when I go through the box.

Great product and a very eco friendly alternative
Personally I’m happy with this product and it’s eco message, don’t think it’s fair that others have left a bad review for it not being 100% compostable as it does say that on the listing. They use recycled plastic so that’s much better than if they used virgin plastic.Obviously if these guys used completely natural fibres would be best but I don’t feel like it’s fair to leave these guys a bad review for your own mistake of not reading the description..If everyone would switch to these instead of the standard ones you get in supermarkets there would be a lot less plastic pollution.Let’s make changes one step at a time and not criticise small companies trying to make a effort.

Stronger and longer lasting than plastic sponges.
We were looking for more eco friendly sponges in place of the usual super market plastic ones what we found was a better sponge all round! They seem more expensive than supermarket sponges but they last much longer so it evens out and they are bigger which I really like.

The first batch Ibought was the most durable!
The first batch of this product I ever bought was the most durable, perfect even! I was disappointed with second batch. The sisal bit detaches within hours of use. Possible production issue? I'll give them one more go...

Not sustainable or 100% eco friendly
These sponges are listed as eco friendly and sustainable. Although These sponges are great and I admire the effort of the brand to make an eco friendly product, it is false advertising/miss guided branding to make a claim of ‘sustainable’ when the product contains plastic. Due to the plastic content this product is not biodegradable, therefore not truly sustainable. I feel misled by the branding and very disappointed. I would return the product, but I don’t want to increase the carbon footprint any more
