I will be teaching 4 year olds and Stem K is still great for this age group
Stem K is just right for kindergarten students. I will be teaching 4 year olds and Stem K is still great for this age group. If some of the activities are too difficult, I can teak them down. In looking at the book, my pre-kinder students will be able to understand the process and outcome of each activity. The activities also require students to think outside the box and this is very important in today's educational era.

Great
I think the activities in this STEM book are perfect for a kindergarten level. They are fun and the kids enjoy doing them. I think the only thing I would like better is if it explained how to do the steps to create the result at this level...

Not the best
This book is not the best selection of STEM projects out there. Half we already did to some degree already or were not worth doing because lacking any real STEM challenge. Some were basically art projects based I suppose on a science theme, but it was art not science none-the-less. Lots of supplies were needed which I am used to as a science teacher, but I can see most elementary teachers in the classroom preferring something more ready to go. There was also no instructions for teachers nor example completed projects. Frankly there was nothing here to help teachers ensure learning outcomes were met so this book's activities would just end up being fluff. In the end, we only did some of the projects, ones that actually had designing involved and trial/error to fine tune projects. I felt the worksheets were longer from what they should be - questions started feeling redundant or unnecessary especially for the age group. Truth is we enjoyed doing the Evan Moor Smart Start STEM workbooks more, though those books also suffered from some art projects instead of sticking to STEM.

A lot of supplies required.
I didn't understand before buying this that it is basically a science experiment book requiring a lot of supplies that I don't have on hand. I thought it was a STEM focused workbook similar to other workbooks for kids.
