This is a beautiful blanket! I was looking for a wool blanket, this blanket is half Alpaca wool that is soft and warm for its weight! That is what’s nice about the Alpaca wool it’s not overly heavy but is warm, wool helps to retain body heat without being sweaty or heavy, no order at all andvery generous size. I got it for my son’s bed but so far have been using it for him when he’s in his wheelchair to keep him warm this winter . I just fold it in half and it’s perfect and keeps him toasty warm against any drafts and absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be getting more! I washed it in my washer on gentle by itself and dried it on low and it washes beautiful no shedding that I could see and the colors didn’t bleed at all. Really a beautiful soft blanket all around!

This blanket is cosy, lightweight and has a great design…I agonized for ages between options (I would have liked but can’t afford 100% alpaca!), I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality AND it is made in Ecuador by a family firm, not mass produced.

Thinner than expected but so beautiful. Used as bedspread atop warmer blankets. Kinda pricey.

Bought this for my son's room -- it really set the tone for decor ideas and really looks classy! Very well made -- soft and not too thick of a blanket.
