Coming from a university student
I seriously adore this backpack. The original intent of the backpack is being able to store things one might need for 3 days. Well, I don't really use it for that purpose, so if you want a review based on that, just skip this one.I'm a university student, and I can tell you that 4 or more classes means carrying around a lot of textbooks. This backpack is awesome, because I can fit SO MANY books inside it. Not only can I fit all the books I need, I can also fit my laptop and all its accessories inside it. I've also used it for transporting a Playstation 3 and some video games. When staying at my boyfriend's place, I can shove a bunch of clothes and food in it, no problem. I'm the type that likes to be prepared too and so regardless of what I use this backpack for, I always have a first aid kit in one of the various compartments.Feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the weight you're going to be carrying? Worry not. This backpack has buckling straps that go around your chest and waist. The backpack can't get away from you.So, the gist is: If you need a backpack that can hold a SERIOUS LOAD of stuff, this is totally the product you want.Don't let the picture fool you. I was seriously surprised when I got this backpack, because it can fit so much more than I anticipated. It expands a lot. So, from the picture, it kinda looks average-sized, but seriously, this backpack EXPANDS.

Okay, not great
First, seller was amazing when I requested a change in colour so good on them. The bag is okay for the price, but don't expect it to last for ever. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would, because again, for the price, it lasted me a year and a half. But even it I use it very much mildly, albeit every day almost, the liner inside started pealing and zippers started breaking and failing after 12 to 15 months. It's still usable, no holes and seams are still holding, but I get the feeling if I would have been any more rough with it, i.e. trekking, camping, etc, it would have given up sooner...

Great versatile pack
I bought this pack several weeks ago in advance of a lot of travel and field work. I bought this particular pack because it had lots of space, had a computer compartment and was incredibly inexpensive by comparison to the competition. I have intentionally overloaded and abused this pack over the last few weeks and I have no functional complaints. I can carry a full week of clothing in this pack, plus a laptop, a book, all my chargers and assorted crap. Basically, everything that I need for a week of work. For field work, I carry any number of instruments, a handheld computer and tools. I use the caribeeners to hold hats and other gear. The d-rings have also come in handy for clipping things to. Fully loaded, the pack still fits easily through airport x-ray scanners. The laptop compartment is fairly easy to reach with a loaded pack, but it can be a little challenging to put the laptop back into the bag when it's totally loaded up, but I have always gotten it back without any unpacking. It will, however, not fit under the seat in the airplane, but stores more easily than a roller bag in the overhead. My only complaint is that the d-rings and most of the hardware is plastic. That said they take a reasonable amount of abuse. Its a little big for daily use, but I use it everyday for work anyway.

Very Useful
Considering i bought a 80$ Jansport bag for school, the zipper ripped in a week after regular daily school usage. The bag i am rating, is very withstanding, and will have PLENTY, I mean PLENTY, of room for anything you need for school. I loose pencils in it all the time, considering you could fit a lot of books in this bag. Zippers are not cheap, and the straps are comfortable. Great product!

Snapped in 2 weeks
I used this backpack to carry my culinary school kit. It was large enough to carry everything with room to spare. But I had it less than 2 weeks when the plastic piece on the strap snapped entirely. I cant remove the strap to use a different one. My school stuff isnt heavy just a little bulky (thus the roomy bag). Im going to exchange it and see if another one works out, because I like the space and the extra little odd and end things (like how I can either have a backpack or a side bag to carry)

Good purchase
Large capacity pack with lots of storage. The zippers appear to be of good quality and it fits my needs.
