Squalane is a naturally occurring substance that supports skin cell health and regeneration. Over time, levels of the skin’s natural moisture factors diminish, and the result is drier skin and wrinkles. Synthetic moisturizers may not penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin where nourishment is most needed. At best, most facial products can only temporarily moisturize the skin’s surface. The skin is recognizes squalane as a natural substance (sebum) and so it can deliver moisturizing therapy where it is needed most. MediOmega squalane is natural and pure, so it will never irritate even the most sensitive skin. MediOmega squalane can do wonders for chapped lips, rashes, and various skin challenges.

Simple & Pure
This is a good natural lip care product. It's in a clear, glass roller ball tube and you apply it like a lip gloss. This contains natural ingredients including peppermint oil. If you've never used a beauty product with peppermint oil before just know that it is POTENT. I've used natural lip care products with peppermint oil like the Burt's Bees balms so I am familiar with it but it's still something to adjust to. As soon as you apply it you can feel it tingling. Within a minute my lips were on fire lol The sensation dulled after about 5 minutes though. If you have very sensitive skin or are not used to peppermint oil, just be aware it is very strong. It may be off putting for some people. Afterwards, it just left a nice pleasant cool sensation on my lips. This is a very light lip moisturizer. It does say "Apply Liberally". It contains Squalane which is derived from Olive Oil. It prevents moisture loss and helps skin retain suppleness. It also contains Vitamin C and Rosemary. There are no heavy oils in this so this isn't a super rich, nourishing type of product. It's also not like a gloss. It's not heavy or sticky. It just provides a nice, light coating of moisture to your lips. It made my lips look and feel very soft and gave them a natural looking matte finish. I reapplied it a couple of times throughout the day. If you have very dry, chapped lips, this may help over time but it's not as moisturizing as a balm or a lip treatment.I think the main benefit of this is that it is very natural, simple and pure. If you're looking to incorporate more natural products into your beauty routine and need a basic lip care product, this is a great one to try.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased opinion. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

Worth the splurge if you have lips that are always sore, chapped or super dry
I suffer from the super sore, really dry cracked lips a lot and while I don't like to pay a crazy amount for something that goes on my lips if it is something that truly works then I will take it into consideration. I have been using this 2 times a day for about a week now and my lips do feel better. It looks like a clear lip gloss jut with the benefits of essential oils. When you put it on you can smell the mint but not really taste it. However, it does really tingle when you put it on. My daughter likes to call this the "You know it works tingle" lol. The only thing that got me was on the page it says... "Deep moisturizing therapy for the face and lips, prevents wrinkles" Not sure I'd want to use it anywhere other than my lips lol that's just me though.Pros:It's 100% natural: Olive Oil derived squalane, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Rosemary, and Natural mint flavor <--- that's it nothing elseSmells great (minty)Great for cracked chapped lips that don't like to healShould last a long time... doesn't take much and once lips are healed you can stick it in the medicine cabinet and pull it out for when you needed it again or use it every day for preventionEven though it says fresh mint it doesn't have a toothpaste mint taste that you naturally think ofCons:I wish it was labeled as a gloss on the page so you know that it is a glossy roller ball liquid (some men don't care for gloss)I can't wear it with my lipstick... just doesn't work.Recommendation: Yes but it's not something I would buy like I do chap stick at the store. This is more along the lines of my lips hurt so bad I need something that will work.... this stuff works and will make them feel better.I was provided a discount in exchange for my honest unbiased review and I do not promise a good rating in return, nor am I affiliated with this company or compensated in any way. As always, all opinions about the products are my own! I know when you read someone has got a discount it sometimes is hard to believe their review but please know that I would never, ever review something I didn’t use myself and I am always 100% honest in my opinions.... this is my promise! Glossy, feel that peppermint sensation
When I think lip balm I think a solid type product like carmex or chapstick. This Lip Care item is a clear roll on product.I was not expecting that. This is definitely a glossy type look product and I feel more geared toward Women. I cannot see my Husband ever using this due to the sheen it leaves on your lips.I will say a little goes a long way, and I was a little surprised by the burning feeling of the peppermint. My lips throbbed for quite a while after I put this on.It's not an overly greasy feeling, considering it says 100% Pure Olive oil, but it does have that glossy slickness feel as you rub your lips together.Longevity is kinda short lived compared to some of my other lip products as far as lip protection. The burning of the peppermint is noticeable for quite a while in my opinion. My lips were not cracked or overly dry by any means. They are normal healthy lips.I'm not sure what MediOmega means when it advertises this "Deep moisturizing therapy for the face and lips, prevents wrinkles". I would not use this on my face.Price point is higher than I would pay for this type of product.I received this item for testing purposes. My opinions are my own and I was not compensated in any way for my thoughts.
