Squalane is a naturally occurring substance that supports skin cell health and regeneration. Over time, levels of the skin’s natural moisture factors diminish, and the result is drier skin and wrinkles. Synthetic moisturizers may not penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin where nourishment is most needed. At best, most facial products can only temporarily moisturize the skin’s surface. The skin is recognizes squalane as a natural substance (sebum) and so it can deliver moisturizing therapy where it is needed most. Great for Dry Skin
I purchase multiples of this product on a regular basis. I have very dry skin, especially after hitting menopause a couple of years ago. I put it on right after getting out of the shower, while my skin is still moist. It absorbs quickly, and relieves the itchy sensation. Then I put on a good skin lotion to seal in the moisture. It is derived from olives, so it is very good for your skin. I've recommended this product to many. It is expensive, but lasts a while!

Great facial oil without being sticky
This stuff is fabulous! Have you ever hugged an older woman and gotten smeared by a greasy face? I have. And now that I'm an older woman, I want a non greasy face so I can hug without guilt of smearing others. This does the trick! I've been using this almost exclusively for a few years and every time someone talks me into something else, I change back fairly soon.

NOT 100% SQUALANE
This is NOT 100% Squalane. The product description is deliberately deceptive. I first became suspicious as 100% squalane oil is odorless and this product has an odor. Furthermore, the bottle lists several additional ingredients, including rosemary oil which is a skin irritant. I always investigate the ingredients in my skincare as I have sensitive skin and an allergy to a common ingredient, and was incredibly disappointed to see the description here was deliberately written to deceive buyers into thinking they are getting 100% squalane when in fact you are getting an oil blend that includes known irritants.

Product arrived quickly and as described and pictured. It is fast absorbing and leaves my skin soft and moisturized. I really like Squalane and this is as good as any I have ever tried.
