Cute story and great illustrations

It's nice to find a sweet quiet book that doesn't have things crashing and zooming in them, in which children behave nicely and politely. In this book, Lily loves her blue kangaroo, but blue kangaroo gets nervous when she is given new toys and she tells the toys, "I love you," too. Whenever Lily is given a gift she thanks the adult politely. She plays nicely with her toys. Lily and her brother do have a conflict in the book because the baby takes her blue kangaroo, but instead of behaving badly, Lily swaps her new toys to get her blue kangaroo back. It's a sweet book and the art work is gorgeous. The words are somewhat repetitive though and might be difficult for younger children to sit through. My 2 year old son likes this book but he greatly prefers "Where are you, Blue Kangaroo", where more things happen and the story is more interesting.

I love this sweet story! I’ve purchased it for my kindergarten class and my granddaughters. It’s perfect for 4 & 5 year old girls.

I bought 2 to give as Christmas for my grand-cousins. The girls loved them and the parents did too.

This is a sweet book that gives a message about "more isn't always better". My children have loved this book for years.

It's a cute story and illustration is sweet as well. My daughter and I like blue kangaroo. However, I don't really like the idea that friendship or love is exclusive and irreplaceable, but should be comprehensive and compatible.

It was stated that this book was in "very good" condition, however, when it arrived, it was obvious that it had been previously folded- twice (length-wise and width-wise). Even after trying to flatten it, it's awkward to turn pages in the book. My daughter can't "read" it without help because she gets too frustrated.

Bought this for my daughter 16 year ago. She is now 18 and still loves this book. I buy it for all the young children who en ter my life and everyone of them love it, especially when all the toys roll over in bed, you and to say it with rhythm - they love it,

An Absolute Favourite with my children; they can really empathise with this. Nicely illustrated too! I would choose this as the best in the series too.
